I think he's got into the habit of blowing the tugboat in the middle of every month now and then scamming even bigger tards out of money. Some time, he's going to get hit with a real emergency and be fucked.

I think he's already hitting the limits of his new business venture, he can't sell items as instantaneously as he used to, and he has proven that he finds it difficult to push random hoard items with no personal relevance (like the disco ball).

I also think that Barb becoming part of "the team" is kinda fucking things up too, like I don't think most Chris trolls care about items that Barb would value, you know?

In terms of Barb specific items, the Snorlax plushie ($100), two blankets ($300) and two autographs ($60) all sold for crazy prices within the last 30 days. Though I think the few people willing to pay for Barb items have been tapped out.

In general, Chris's business is slowing down greatly, especially since PonyCon.

Just a guess, but can Idea Guys be a factor adding to his reluctance on doing anything Sonichu related? I mean, he really drew himself buttfucking his cherished creation because of them, so now it's all ponies and CPUs, like he does not want to go back to Sonichu because some kind of trauma.

He has no problem with incorporating Idea Guy lore into his daily life otherwise, like saying he's bi and married to fictional characters. He was also obsessing over ponies prior to Idea Guy, to the point that he made Sonichu 12-9 entirely about Night Star.

I think the Sonichu hiatus is just a result of him not focusing on it. Back when he was still in the middle of Sonichu 11 , he'd bitch about how he couldn't be creative because of also dealing with financial strain and his sales, which fits the circumstances he's in now.
