My mom took me to an OAR concert when I was in high school.

I loved it, not least because the music was genuinely fun to listen to.

depends

either the Christian musical act Carmen, or some other christian group like Plus One (it was a family gathering)
Only Carmen I still remember vividly

First I have fond memories of is Weird Al

My absolute favorite is either Kenny Loggins or Roger Waters The Wall tour

Simon and Garfunkel free concert in Central Park, New York, Sept. 19, 1981. I was a high school kid then.

This was my little Woodstock experience. Well, mine and couple of hundred thousand others'.

My first paid concert ticket was Bob Dylan, Meadowlands Arena, New Jersey, Oct. 27, 1981

(I could find no video of that, but this is from the same year)

And yes, old guys can navigate the internet, kids. At least some of us can.

It was either Doomsday Festival or Rock am Ring in 2000, I forget which was first. I was around 16 and my brother and his university friends took me and my friend in a camper van. They were going to take me previously but this was the first time my parents allowed it.

First concert was Jimmy Buffett in the 90's with the fam.
First solo concert was Mayday Parade/Panic! at the Disco/All Time Low. Riiiiight before/after those bands went to shit imo.

First concert - UFO with Molly Hatchet opening, 1981, Alpine Valley WI
First solo concert - Metallica, 1982, Aragon Ballroom Chicago

Depends. I played a small concert as a kid just playing snare drums in a school thing when I was like 6.

First concert with my family would be some Czech and Tejano Polka thing my Grandma took me to when I was 8. It was pretty neat honestly and her love of folk music is one reason I’m such a hipster when it comes to music,

First solo concert? I’m embarrassed to admit this but it was Green Day. I was 14 and the girl I was dating at the time really liked them. I had a good time.

First concert I saw by a band I actively listen to? Brian Jonestown Massacre, and Ive seen them every time they’ve come to town since.
