Seriously I'm fascinated by gars with their armor-like scales. The albino version is known as "lucky crocodile" and are one of the favorite "feng-shui" fish of Chinese triads.

I've always wanted a cowfish, but it turns out that I think if they get pissed off in an aquarium they release a toxin that kills everything, sometimes including itself.

Second choice was a porcupine puffer, (diodon holocanthus, not hystrix) which look adorable. I ended up with a 6-foot freshwater tank and a 16 inch fahaka puffer instead.
