She was having crazy mood swings and she was yelling at everyone, but had some kind of beef with Fatty I guess? Chat suggested she was mixing SSRI with alcohol and that might have overloaded both her brain cells.

I missed what started it. I caught a little bit of Fatty yelling about "sexual assault" and arguing with Letty about how it's different when it happens to guys. I get a feeling he has a dark past. I'm guessing her getting rejected by Frank is what set her off or the TTS going off on her for being fat and useless.

Fatty snapped because he respects Frank Hassle and thought Sylvia touched Frank sexually because Frank kept saying she did as Frank trolled her in front of everyone. So we get Fatty screaming like a woman for way too long believing Sylvia really molested Frank.
Fatty has made a habit over his career of trauma dumping and being triggered by random things that remind him of something very specific, it's hard to know what's real with him but most of what he says is bullshit.

She also told Josie and Vance that it was a big joke by her and she's fucking with everyone, which rubs Josie the wrong way. Josie told Sylvia to tell Chris it was a joke and Sylvia goes downstairs but chooses instead to apologize, no mention of joking, and Chris tells her not to talk to him. Sylvia never intended on telling Chris she was joking and clearly she wasn't. Sylvia told the bathroom confessional that she was joking as well as if viewers didn't see it from beginning to end.

Can anyone confirm anything Hog says? She claims to be bulimic/anorexic, former heroin addict, and during Fatty's workout she claimed to have rods in her hand so she can't workout.

I can't confirm anything but her being a former heroin addict is considered established. The rods in her hand seems like bullshit, internal hardware usually comes with scars and people talk about it after spending weeks together.
Speaking from experience on that one and I never am the one to bring it up.

The addition of the freeloaders was done most likely as a quick fix/knee jerk reaction to a lack of content. After Jon left and the camping situation started viewership started to drop very quickly. Freeloaders are a way to basically give the show a quick dose of energy and keep the audience interested in the short term. And they do a good job... in the short term. Simon's entertainment value didn't last. Lance was sweet but short in staying. Ella had potential, but she left far too quick.

The addition of ASF was done as a way to fill the Jon sized hole in everyone's heart. Problem is he's too low energy and doesn't shut the fuck up (at least Jon read the Bible). He's also very predictable in his actions. Basically we're not going to see a mustard explosion anytime soon with ASF. Frank is what the plant should've been, but now that the show is three weeks in and he's been hyped up so much he might disappoint some. He's still the best freeloader though.

I feel like a lot of people don't want to see celebrity fish tank. They want to see the contestants they've known from week one interact with each other and do dumb contests. They want to see said contestants and their arcs with each other be solved. Problem is most good arcs died the moment Jon left. Now it's mostly producer forced drama. Not to say there hasn't been good moments. As people have pointed out the rapping contest was very good.

Freeloaders are a good idea since an emptying house was going to be a problem, they just cannot overstay their welcome. Lance was a good example of just enough imo. I think there has been and can easily continue to be content without Jon but producers keep fumbling when they have good opportunities.
