I like the swamp challenges. "We're so back" or whatever.

Can someone explain the combination of 70s theme and swamp theme? The two things seem completely unrelated. I can envision a half-assed production meeting where those were their best theme ideas, so they just mushed them together rather than actually debate about it. It kind of works though.

They probably chose the 70's because of the cult stuff that was abandoned early in.

The "swampified" house is cool, and the while part of what makes the show fun is the gradual house destruction, I did like looking at the original 70s house too.

So your not wrong, it is just weirdly combined together. basically throughout the season sam hyde or "the judge" was a character who originated from the swamps. He would refence it in stories like he does at the begining of each challenge. thats basically it now he brings "the swamp" to them. What you should really get out of this... they dropped the original theme because fuck you! Also at this point Sams just trying to fix the shitshow that was this season... its better than nothing I suppose.

edit: Also, does anyone remember how many chips each fish has? I know Tay's been hoarding hers in her sock the entire game and seems to have a lot. It looks like the chips might actually come in handy after all since you can use it to buy stuff and fuck with other fishes.

On /tv/ people have posted screenshots of an Adidas tracksuit shining through the suit on the infrared lights. Brian tends to wear those. I hope it's not him, he sucks.

Fatty is wearing the cam and breathing very heavily despite doing nothing but standing.

I really like the NPC and using chips to buy stuff, that's a pretty creative and good way save aspects of the show that had seemed forgotten.

I always thought it would be fun to mess with frank by warning him that boogie was going to box him in 3 days. day of they bring a obese black guy and say he's the "racial inclusive Boogie" when frank says wtf he pulls out a cap gun and say "i'm invoking castle doctrine" and fire a few rounds.

Transforming the whole house into a swamp for the finale is a fun idea. I think it looks cool.

1st challenge was a dance competition, TJ won.
2nd was hiding the chickens then collecting them in a box, whoever had the most won. Tay won and the chickens were taken to the garage.
3rd was bow and arrow hunting the fish, last one hit wins. They played this with Sam, Ben, Josie, Vance and Greg as the hunter for various rounds so lots of people won.
4th was getting in a sleeping bag in the downstairs bathroom and crawling like a snake to top bunk. Shinji won.

Voodoo Mama Juju (Trish) can steal points (or just subtract someones points, I can't remember) for chips, she can give you water/redbull, or she can read your future and give you a cryptic hint (useless I think)

Swamp Djinn (Fatty) can grant you a request but he will ask you to do something first. Not entirely sure how this will work since nobody has used it yet.

It was also implied there will be more NPC's added in the future

Old Frank (Frank) has shown up and for 40 chips he will blockade/mess with someone else for that round.

they shouldve done this but made it a board game and gone full IRL mario party with less rng. seeing someone lose their mind over a bad dice roll would be funny.
