I don't find Burt entertaining because he's a good or moral person I enjoy him because he's a freak who makes me laugh. Just today his exchange with Sam about him "always suspecting" he was Jewish because he was always talking about money was incredibly funny. He has TONS of moments like that aren't him beating his dick. I would never want to be around him in person.

I think they do background checks and absolutely look to get people with nasty history on the show, if only for the audience to root for their downfall and pay to torture them, or to create content by kicking them. The Brandon one seems to have backfired in a way since the cast is the most degenerate type of normies, and production probably realized the only way to properly deal with him is to have him gone. I am still hoping they do some sort of further expose on him with a slideshow though, i want to see these degenerates try to defend him through that.
