With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I haven't been keeping up with Letty recently but did some catch up on her VOD's and clips, and apparently her and chicken Andy are "over" after he made fun of her revenge porn infront of her (she did some crying on stream about it), and then she got super drunk and went off on him off stream, and woke up the next morning with vomit in her bed and hair, and was apparently suicide baiting in the DM's of another streamer mando that same night. She claims she does not remember doing that and it must have been a joke and that same day chicken ditched her and the other streamers without saying goodbye to avoid having to see Letty after all that.
She also talked about speaking to her IRL bestfriend for the first time in a month and her friend told her that her hooking up with chicken Andy was the biggest L of Letty's life and Letty agreed with her. She alluded to that fact that there's even more to the chicken Andy situation but didn't elaborate on it further since "People already think im retarded and would just think im even more retarded if i revealed certain things"

So shes been having a good time all in all. I would put money on her forgiving chicken Andy and getting back with him in the future since she really is that dumb though.

If there is any silver-lining she did at least speedrun this horrific relationship very effectively. Wounds will be more superficial. She is very retarded.

I wonder why they took down Wataru's original upload basically within an hour of it going up, but this one's still up with no issues. The one thing that feels like a potential issue with the edit (other than how much good content is still cut) is the completely unprompted mention of a $250k reward for lasting the 14 days. They're already getting enough shit for gambling away Burt's prize, so I can see why centering the edit around a $250k prize pool that never existed would not be a good idea.

I'm baffled by 250k thing as well. That may be the reason for the removal, although my guess is that the edit looked and sounded very similar to what the producers had in mind and they didn't want to be accused of copying. A fair reason, considering how good the edit is in general. Also, the music choices are awesome and not necessarily something that the official edit can include for copyright reasons.

The editor also didn't realize that it's "King Fattius", not "Thaddeus", among a couple other small mistakes. Overall not optimal for the optics of Jet's baby.

To "Wataru Kannazuki", you should absolutely fix the errors and double the runtime in a 100% + All Achievements Run version of your edit.

Jimmy was told that if they achieved "the good ending" there was a prize to be split among the 6 fish. 2.5 went through multiple editions of what it was supposed to be, the original pitch at the investor session Jet said they wouldn't have a base camp and each night they'd have to fortify it to fight off vampires like they were playing a real life version of Rust so maybe the original payout scheme really was a pot of money with lower payouts for lesser victory conditions or nothing for failure, only for Jet to realize that is fucking dumb and to just do extremely generous day rates since he selected those 6 fish specifically because he trusted them to grind through adversity.

The last word on that was in September, with him claiming that the edits were mostly done and that he was waiting on thumbnails. He announced a competition for that in his Discord and that's the last I heard about it.
