With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Calling it now Aryeh is 100% going to have an autistic meltdown and will leave the show early. I don’t think that he’ll get violent like Jimmy but there’s now way he lasts more than two weeks with how he’s already reacting to TTS.
 
So this season's plan is to use the fishes' knowledge of the show to fuck with them, rather than try to have them obfuscate it? Nice.

Trying to wrangle Cole still wakes Jet up in cold sweats, still disappointed to this day that they couldn't find a way to maintain his tenure

Quick rundown on what happened. I believe Daniel, Angie, and Jin were trying to go in the attic. Using youtube for exact quotes. Jet was communicating with them through intercoms, told them to get out. Daniel called him gay. Jet responds, "did you just call me gay for telling you to get out of the attic."

Dan immediately responds with, "Yeah"

Jet: Cause that's where all our tech is?

Dan: Yeah

Jet, You're being testy buddy

Dan: Oh shiver me timbers Jet

Jet: You've been testy all day, you got the top stock. I'll get your ass out of here tonight, you wanna fuck with me?

Dan: You're gonna get rid of your top stock guy?

Some chatter from Angie and Jin then...

Jet: You've been snippy all day man.

Dan: I didn't think it was that big of a deal, just keeping my stock up, you know how it is.

Jet: You're acting just like Cole... You're acting just like Cole. We never disliked Cole, we never disliked Cole. You're acting like him, just stop dude.

Dan: I'm not intentionally doing it, I forgot how he acted.

Angi: He's acting just like him but you never disliked him?

Angi: You're on thin ice.

Dan: I know I'm on thin ice, but at the same time they're putting idiots like me on the show, and then they get shocked. Like, "Oh my God we have to take care of a bunch of idiots for six weeks."

Jet proceeds to come up the stairs to talk things out. Bunch of gay stuff and light reprimanding follows.


Cole won.

Production said something about having the collar on for longer than half an hour could be hazardous to her health. Realistically they don't want the fat bitch to leave on day 3.

I genuinely hope that production is just gassing her up so the eventual crash is that much more satisfying when they rugpull and make it clear that she'll never be staff or a freeloader in the future.
 
There has been a running bit all day of TTS calling Angelina "Angelica" and she almost always responds "That's not my name!!"
It just happened in confessional and Dan went "Oh what is your name?" Freddy says "Angela" and Dan is like "oh yeah Angela." She gets mad and says "No it is Angelina! Please just call me Angie"
It doesn't sound very funny typed out, but I really like the bit of no one knowing her name
 
They'll never get it, their egos are insane, they think people watch the show for them, but they watch it for the fish. They think they're above ever being the butt of the joke. It goes all the way back to season 1 when Jet was visibly ass blasted over Tai's bwoke the fishtank rant.
