With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

  • 2 Stars — Pretty bad. Some funny moments, dragged, too many vibe repair days. Barely worth checking.

So for this show to legitimately work, they would need to rent some type of home that's on a filming lot or something? Is that how other reality TV shows that require contestants to live together work?

I'm just trying to wrap my head around how they can not let this happen again. I mean, honestly, they will probably continue to use houses that they can not legally do this type of show in.. just in a different more relax state because there probably isn't any profit to make in this type of show if you have to go about doing it right way.

It's sad that the best two seasons of this show have been plagued by turbo tards and pearl clutching old people. They really need to pony up and buy a warehouse at this point.
 
Since we're all in a meta conversation at this point.
Fishtank has been a fun addition to my life. There's ups, there's down, but a few times every year my otherwise normal life is just attached to these strangers for a few weeks. Honestly besides here, /ftl/, Kino Casino, and Fishtank I barely engage with the internet at large. It's one of the few times I can just be terminally online outside of work and social life, along with bugging my friends/relationships by showing them out of context clips or pics.

Hell I got to meet two of the contestants by pure coincidence. Jon and Josie at AX last year (I hugged Jon and we jumped up and down yelling JONTENT at the artist alley lmao), and Josie again when she was kinda by herself at a local Phoenix con and we added her to the group for a couple of hours while we drank and talked.

Even most of you. Appreciate the effort some people put into the posts, capping certain events or even the jokes. If it goes down I'll be bummed but I always have a good time each time the wiggers wake up from their whippets.

I figured that'd be a reason the gov is using to come down on them.

Hey guys it's me, the president of the United States. I have personally sent an email to the fishtank producers to encourage them in their time of need. I have personally talked to both Jet and Sam and they say that actually the show is still on and we will catch up on the details over a a couple of Grand Slams at Denny's.
