With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

He has far more consistency than all of MDE put together. If he keeps it up (which it seems he will) he'll probably end up making more money than his Irish alter-ego that used to offer unethical exam writing services for jeets who couldn't do university work.
And that'll be funny considering MDE fucked him over for the prize money in the name of him apparently being a "degenerate" while he's livestreaming as a detective listening to a video about Jeet Neptune rape allegations.

starting at around 2 hours and 44 minutes, they ask Sam about Season 5. its pretty much a nothingburger, just the usual "they're working on it" and he also mentioned the wiggers working on a video game? i think the big takeaway here though is that both the PKA boys and Sam himself forgot which season was season 4, thats how scuffed it all was.

Bloodgames was good because Jet's ego was kept in check, the planning was better and the wiggers waited until it ended before breaking out the booze, sex pesting and galaxy gas.
 
The longer the wiggers take with season 5 the more steam they lose. The more they split their attention with dumb side projects like video games that no one cares about the more steam they lose.

seriously. its been over a year since we've had a full, proper season, we have no updates, but the wiggers are working on a video game (that will likely flop). and Sam doesnt even fucking remember season 4, at this point he might not even be involved in season 5 because hes too involved in the political grift. its bleak.
 
Season 1 is the only season that ran the full advertised length. Season 2 ended a day early but meh that's close enough to not really matter. Season 3 collapsed after 3/4 weeks and had a dead house by the time of the Gold Burt ending which was the true end of the show, and the RV trip was then a shitty epilogue with some funny moments. Lastly, S4 was fucked up faster than any other Season after less than 2 weeks and had the potential to collapse even harder and faster. It's been a downward trend.

The only hope we have is that they're in the process of obtaining the licences and permits to record at a property that they didn't bother to get for the other seasons, and don't want to talk about S5 until it's secured.

Even if they do get everything ironed out, it's seemingly going to be another fan season snoozefest given that they were taking applications on the official site.

Sam not even remembering S4 is unsurprising considering how checked out he was most of that season. Silver lining though, he seems to fondly remember S3 so maybe that will influence things for the better.

There was some funny moments, sure. But at the same time it was mostly literally nothing because of them being offline most of the time either because of the shitty connection as they drove across the States or because they were sleeping/partying (lmao remember the time they went online and accidentally slipped up and said that they were partying when not streaming the night before and Sam had to run in and say that it was just a joke bro).

Vegas is overhated I'd say. It wasn't THAT bad, not as good as the house but a lot of funny moments and watching the fish sperg out in public was novel for fishtank. Also some interspersed gold moments like confronting Burt about Jim O'hara. However the RV was genuinely bad. Boring the whole way and unacceptable technical difficulties, if you liked that you may need to consult a physician.
 
I think if jet had figured out starlink and picked up a midrange router with mobile fallback S3 would have been amazing. A roadtrip fishtank is probably something that will never happen again and we missed most of it.

If IP2 junkies could do it 5 years ago in the exact same spots in Vegas there is no real reason Fishtank could not besides wigger ineptitude.
an RV spinoff would have been great

the real reason it sucked wasn't even that, it was that jet and sam were shitting their pants about possible stream snipers, thats why a real roadtrip tank will never happen
Like, imagine if some kid showed up with a purple dildo, threw it at them and started screaming "MARKY MARKY" at the top of his lungs? how would them deal with that?

The janky connection turned a lot of people off to what would have otherwise been content. Remember the Ball Brothers concert and how some random Twitter user's stream was better quality than the official stream on the site?

Vegas trip arc in a nutshell. It's a shame though.
