I remember the first time the s2 house got leaked and thinking how trippy/weird it looked in comparison to s1’s plain open feel. It really did set the mood for a different season, and even though I think the early days of s3 were peak FT, early days of s2 give off a dreamlike state that I don’t think can be easily replicated. I think it was because that time is associated with a sense of overall optimism, when the audience’s good will had yet to be burned so much.

yeah early S2 before the awfull CK arc will never be replicated , it was one of the very few times i actually thought they had completely figured out everything and had a plan, it started to fall apart when it turned out they were all fans and the quality only kept declining

The part i remember the most is the silence. At certain points not a single viewer TTS was sent no matter how cheap they made it. Coming off of S1 where TTS was just a wall and they were forced to shut it off to do things was super jarring.

S2 post Jimmy was genuinely a chore to watch, the cast was so boring and so obnoxious, completely souless. i don't even like Jimmy but he was the funny kind of asshole, as opposed to the soul crushing one

They killed all the conflict drivers. As cathartic as it was to watch Jimmy get beat up by a tard, most people were watching for Jimmy crashouts and threats at that point and production definitely thought he'd stay longer than just that night.
People hated Brian, but he was the main instigator for the early weeks and it did start to go to shit after they kicked him to save Jimbo. Same as the Jin/Daniel dilemma, choosing between the two biggest shitstirrers instead of nontent was a domino decision which bled into the season until it was unwatchable.
People look back at the S3 RV trip really badly but to me it was at least irony-laced and they knew what they were doing was dogshit and tried to play into that (the editing during the Goodspings ghost tour, etc). The last two weeks of S2 was completely unwatchable - nontent contestants (Shinji had fallen off bad by now), apathetic Frank, and Jet even conceding they were tapped out when they did the bit of moving production upstairs for a day.

As has been said over and over in this thread especially by me, the wiggers keep removing the shit stirrers because of their own egos being hurt or being tired of dealing with them. Jimmy was obviously being pushed to his breaking point on the day he was kicked out, they obviously pushed Alex B to leave on his own after the Pig incident, and although it was early into Season 4 Jin had begun shit stirring before his removal and Dan was threatened with removal if he kept doing so too. Wigger L and L

thats why i say S3 was the best season, it had its moments even in the worst stretches, and the cast was excellent, doubt they will ever get a cast that good again

Anything from Famous House 2 onwards is abysmal dogshit and most things before that were great with some low points. If you average it out it’s the best season by far but it has the worst lows. Season 4 I don’t even count as having been a real season, but even then there was at least some kino involved when everything went to shit. It was a “you had to be there” type of thing, but it was still something.

And everybody else fucking sucked. It was a bad cast.
luke ,mizzy and simbal were decent, the rest was mostly there to watch and react (wich they did very well imo) , plus the great freeloaders. in comparison S1 was very boring besides Letty and John, all the interesting fish in S2 were kicked early on and weren't there for the ending and S4 had probally the most mid cast ever

Luke was a plant. Mizzy sucked. Simbal's role could have been filled by literally any Indian man and it wasn't even good anyway.

Total fucking cope. They sat around and did nothing, sometimes they cried. You're welcome to keep pretending that was content.

The cast is the contestants and you know that.

fine, what do you think was the best cast then? i liked S1's cast too, but the other 2 were bad, S2 could have only worked if production coddled massively the fish because half of the cast was nearing a breakdown and S4 was just meh, you had 2 fish who were the most boring and standard virgin autists imaginable (Dan and Seth) , 2 completely 2d simpbait women (Angelina and Ellie), thats 4 whole wasted contestant slots, the rest was either meh or barely interesting (Dirench, Rachel and the druggie millenial whatishisname)

I’d say they were the most cohesive cast and worked well together. During famous house there was a lot of reality tv hijinks and candy theft that some of the more passive fish even got in on. Id say the worst fish from season three were better than some of the mid fish from other seasons. At the very least the overarching gaslight made their delusions of grandeur enjoyable to watch and mess with, even if they as individuals weren’t churning out content.

When S4 went to the basement it looked like the start of something good until it got shut down.
I know most people are only in it for the contestant driven """content""" but things like the basement make me think there would be a large amount of fun in having some actual gameshow style stuff going on beyond improvised challenges. Differing sets, planned storylines/set dressing etc.
