Bashir I believe has honorable intentions, and despite all his quotations from philosophy and whatever, he lacks emotional control in the heat of the moment, and crashes out in childish ways. He sort of knows this about himself, but hasn't really internalized it. He can quote Sun Tzu or whomever all he likes, but he needs to realize that this sort of mastery isn't an intellectual thing. It's a gut thing you can't really learn from books, and forged in the fire of personal experience. Maybe the Fishtank will help him with this.

He needs to stop trying control the people and circumstances around him and focus on controlling himself. He needs to let go of his ego and not endlessly talk about letting go of his ego.

So in this conversation, James claimed that he wasn't there when the door hit Bashir, then he didn't touch the door at all...but did nudge it, and then said he was just kidding when he threatened to kill Bashir the moment the door hit him.

Why does anyone take shitting on Bashir or Drake personally in this thread? This a streaming freak show where the contestants are subjected to psychological torment and disaster brought on by wigger retardation and it's all for our enjoyment. Why is anyone attached to any contestant, especially Bashir? If they released a grizzly bear in the house, I'd be thrilled.

It's this. His shadow looms large because he's afraid of losing control and having his fortunes reverse, as happened with his family in the aftermath of the Syrian Civil War and the Lebanese Banking Crisis. I think watching his parents' despair might've built that defense mechanism, so he wants to control things to get the outcome he wants.

It'll take some shadow-work, but Bashir has the potential to be a cool guy. He just needs to see himself not in an idealized way, but in a real one.
 
They should bring in a homeless guy, tell James its Frank Hassle, and let him finally unload on someone because he's looked like he's ready to murder for like 10 days now.

That's what I've been saying. The Bashir cult in particular in these threads is a bit worrisome. S1 Josie levels of simpery going on here. It's perfectly fine to cheer for a fish but some of you niggas are taking it too far.
