I think this bathroom incident shed some new light on Jon. He ignored both of Sam's attempts to break through to him, but responded almost immediately to Jet's more compassionate, softer approach.

Jon thinks he needs a larger-than-life, alpha role model like Tate or Goldstriker, but I think what he really needs is a genuine bro who actually cares about him and will listen to him and treat him with respect.
