With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

I'm really missing Jon wed pwilling Mauro in the kitchen. Jon is carrying the tank so much his knees are gonna start flaring up again.
 
They really didn't fucking test anything, did they? They would have found that API issue and avoided downtime if they had done a dry run. It makes me MATI that this is such an impressive production but they just straight up didn't test shit.

Same but I get it to some degree. This isn't a network show. It's a black listed comedian trying to build his own thing. If this is the only major issue, that's fine. Well see how the weekend goes, though.

It's not a matter of it being a networked show or not. They did not do basic QA on their website. It is an issue of technical competence. Not necessarily Sam's fault because he's not an engineer, but someone involved with the development of the web app needs to get thrown into a pit.

Not at all. Looks like Sam and crew didn't even read their hosting contracts before burning $30,000 to the google and cloudflare jew in three days. Shits a disaster and I do not see this fishtank becoming a yearly thing.

That should actually be an easy fix. It definitely doesn't need to cost that much for what they are doing. They are probably spamming some service endpoint with way too many requests and driving their bill up unnecessarily as someone pointed out before. That would also explain why the site is dogshit slow.

It's a shame that it can be so hard to host something actually funny on the internet these days.
Sam said it would be a yearly thing but I could really use some confirmation right now that the show will go on this season. It would be a shame for them to pack it up and try again in a year.

Sam should hire Null to run the site next season. I was wondering if it was a stunt to get extra buzz but doesn't look like it.
