With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I feel the same way, but I'm hoping that there's some kind of payoff to fuck with them in the long run.

Although, I imagine the team would be pretty deflated after the tech issues and this is just them blowing off steam.

You weren't around to see it in it's full glory. When the site was up you had control over every camera in the house so you could focus on whoever you wanted to. It created a completely unique form of media where even if not much was going on the viewer still had agency on what/who they were watching. It was also a pretty great community experience because to understand the "dynamic" between all of the fish you have to rely on others to clip what they found interesting while you were asleep/focused on another fish. Hopefully they can get everything back up and running even half as smoothly as it was.

That second or third night when everyone was sleeping was so cozy with the onsite livechat. Mauro's snores were absurdly loud, woke up poor Simmons too, I thought he was gonna suffocate in his sleep.
I'm so grateful for all the orbschizos, keep counting them!
