With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

But like fr no cap there isn't a single contestant out of those 10 that I'd genuinely say I took a liking to. They are all either insipid or autistic, no character no personality no nothing. It's been a snoozefest so far gentlemen but I'd be shorting all ten coins if I were you (NFA).

To talk to their loved ones/family I assume. That and when the police is asking questions telling the police that they are not allowed to use the phones would probably look really suspicious.
 
We're off to a good start today, someone tried to take out the trash but spilled a bunch on the floor and just left it apparently.

Panic prevention. All these zoomers are still going through phone withdrawals, and the only way to get them to calm down after getting pig guns pointed in their faces was a little taste of that electronic goodgood.

It was a crew member who tried taking it out for anyone who missed it. Jet had said before that they wouldn't be cleaning up for them after the first time so I'd assume this is their way of telling them to take it out when it's full.

Also several of them mentioned they had friends or family watching the show, it's a good move for Sam getting them back in contact with family as soon as possible and builds trust that they take emergencies seriously. Having a parent freak out and convincing their kid to leave would have sucked.

This is a frog boiling in the pot and it is extremely entertaining as is, if it's not for you then it's not for you. But in my eyes it's been a blast so far and the hiccups have actually humanized the cast quite a bit for most of the viewers, allowing the frog-boiling to go along smoothly without everyone spamming for TTS to be put on.
The swatting and site going down caused quite a few not so cool results, but these are best to get out of the way in the early stages.

its not really a garbage take exactly, its a project that has sam hyde attached to it....it is not a huge leap or expectation or surprise that people would be expecting it to be more eh, irreverant, and less like what you can just see on regular cable tv
 
What the cast of the show really needed is some dude who is in their mid 30's drinks a lot, has OCD and who's torture stems from having to deal with a bunch of autistic zoomers.
 
I'm going to go a little autistic here since I've recapped on the stream but Jet should never show his face to these people post auditions. The least interaction they should have with anyone from the outside is those ninjas, medics, Sam (since he's host) and maybe some low level producer in necessary situations.

I'm comparing this a lot to Big Brother (since it basically is with a lot of autism on both sides) but I want to bring up this wonderful element from Big Brother called the Diary Room or Confession Room. The idea is, you have a secluded room that is sound proof from the outside, there's a chair, a camera, and a microphone with speakers to project a voice relaying whatever the producers are saying. You're alone, there's nobody but you and a camera. In earlier Big Brothers it was a great feature and made the show interesting, but this concept has now been hijacked by modern reality TV shows and producers being forced drama cocksuckers. These are those dumb inject edit moments when someone on the show bitches about what's presently happening, whatever. (Read more here, fuck wikia).

This show NEEDS a diary room. They may all be all friendly and cheerful on live camera, but behind the scenes, away from their "friends" is where the real milk starts coming out. Obviously in Big Brother and other reality shows this is driven by the producer. But since every room is streamed in real time (hopefully still is when the site is live again) this would eliminate careful edits and out of context snippets.

Producer always handsy interaction fucks with everything, you want to keep the illusion for as long as possible. I really hope after the SWATing shit they tone down their interactions.
 
It seems like the transition between cameras is a lot smoother today. Was there any kind of announcement or anything about troubleshooting?

jon confirmed that he was awake while josie was cleaning (and didn't help.). letty and jon ignored the new mess, and josie immediately started cleaning AGAIN. Josie just keeps winnning
