With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I get that they're trying to keep the show interactive but I definitely hope that moving forward they bring in Nick or someone else to be a unbiased judge to determine a winner. Otherwise, Josie is just going to win everything by default if it's an audience decision.
 
I could not vote for Simmons after his skit gave me nothing but uncomfortable cringe.

Loud ≠ funny, but the energy was more fun and I didn't hate myself for watching it afterwards.

It makes things less rewarding to follow if they won’t let a single thing play out. The Josie thing is also going to be an issue for audience voting. No way around it.

Nah man I didn't even crack a smile at the Simmons shit this time around but I was belly laughing at the Osama skit.

Mind, I was laughing very hard during the first rehearsals but I think thats because at first Simmons was so against it, and then later it was funny to see him embrace it. But even barring his performance, it was like a bad predictable hokey SNL skit. Like I said, women writers.

Loud = funny is ok if your production budget is the roll of toilet paper in the bathroom. It's why it was ok in early Youtube but not today.

Each fishbuck is worth however many hundred dollars, I don't remember. They earn them by winning challenges or just arbitrarily at Sam's whim. They only get to keep them if they either win or get kicked out by vote, if they quit all their fishbucks are taken away.
 
The "light maintenance" sounds like they're installing (or correcting installation) on the "smart lights" that can be remotely shutdown.
Looks like they really think fishtank.live is coming back up with fish toys in next few days
