Fishtank accidentally turned out great because 4 of the contestants turned out to be pretty great at generating lulz when you just put them in front of a camera and don’t fuck with them too much.

The technical glitches also helped by delaying the epic ween pranks they’re planning to start ramping up.

I’m hoping they’ll pivot away from just harassing the contestants and focus more on giving the actually entertaining contestants emotional highs and lows so we can enjoy their reactions. But I’m not sure Sam’s wiggers have the ability to understand what made this show accidentally great.

yeah the ones that are actually showing personality and hitting it off are insanely entertaining to watch. i don't think i would enjoy this nearly as much with TTS or other shit, especially if they're gonna just fuck with jon now.

I think we’re all taking part in what Sam sees as a pilot. The problem is in order to have a pilot you have to have a concept. The issue with having strong concept is Jon has consistently been Sam and Jets foil.

I use to see Jon as a snitch because Sam influenced us into that line of thinking. But it’s not Jons fault that Sam and the burn out crew didn’t properly prep for anything. A guy like Jon should have been a given for a perfect naive cast member. But the crew failed to insulate him from the outside world every step of the way.

It’s not on Jon to play along with your abstract concepts. It’s on Jon and the rest of the cast to react to what happens around them. By that metric Jon isn’t a snitch and is doing what he’s supposed to do.

With this like of thinking it leads you to this:

Fishtank is a great show despite Jets plans falling apart. Abusing Jon because you suck at being a producer is the wrong move and jeopardizes everything.

Speak for yourself, I am down for all the Jon-bullying I can get. Like I said, I want to see TTS and Hassle break his Elmer Fud-sounding snitch ass.
