It wasn’t actually him with the court date. He used the misinfo to his advantage. Damiel quit because he was stressed from Jon and lack of Xanax. Jet put Damiel up in a hotel with another producer and gave him casino money to get him to come back to the show.

Edit: also he goes into the basement every day for drugs. Damiel is genuinely a disgusting degen.
