With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I think Lettie either knows what's up or is good at reading the room, maybe a combination of the two. I reckon she's gonna stick to Jon like glue. Considering what Vance and Sylvia put in Jon's head, it might be to her own detriment.

If they flatter him enough and make him feel like he's in with the group I bet they could lead him around pretty good. I think being to made to feel like he belongs could be his Achilles heel.

This is a really interesting development and I'm curious to see how it plays out.

Of course Lettie has been trying to manipulate him the whole time too, but I always got the impression she was doing it more for the male attention, while the others are definitely doing it from a purely competitive standpoint.

I liked the TTS that came through when he was in the room talking to Sylvia that told him to not let the SOBs corrupt him. She ushered him out of the room pretty fast after that.

Yeah that makes a tonne of sense, Vance and Sylvia seem to be making a point of talking with Jon more. I thought it was more to direct the conversation with Jon to try and exclude Lettie.

I agree with you about Lettie monopolising/manipulating Jon's attention/time. She does genuinely like him.
Vance and Sylvia have to work really hard though, Lettie genuinely enjoys doing shit with Jon and it's hard to fake that.

Am downloading them and gonna skim later but yeah they got dull. I get that the bit is he's deadpan and nonsensical but it wore thin when hotdogs were on plates.

A guy on rdrama mentioned that he knew Letty (friend of a friend) when the show started. "she's likable but full retard". When questioned about her behaviour on the show his response was "No she's 100% like that IRL, she's like a puppy living in the moment" (keep in mind that was day1).

Considering that they don't mention shipping anywhere it's most likely digital only. Do you expect them to ship the box around the world for free? Of course there is the option to later pay shipping fees, but those guys are too inept to run something like that.


The interview guy was decent, because he basically made me hear Josie speak for the first time. She is surprisingly normal. Mentioned that people TTSed that they would like to commission her for her art and she is happy with that. She also wanted to look into creating a LLC (which she didn't for the show) for her company that she wanted to found (only listened with half an ear, cause the guy is annoying as fuck).

Coming out of a relationship where you felt like someone actually loved you and was close to you just to face all of these crazy issues can be pretty traumatizing when you don't have the support group and ways to cope but I don't really know the full story, i'm just generalizing based on experiences from myself and people I know.

They were whispering, but from what I could understand they said that she's a liar and will do anything to win. They brought up the lies about piss closet, hot dogs and said she's trying to get close to Jon to use him. Jon also asked if they wanted to work together to eliminate her and they all agreed.
