Jon is so pure, he needs to be protected. I've had dealings with girls like Letty and sure, they might be great and freaky in bed, but it's guaranteed that they will lead you to a path of self-destruction because of their narc fantasies and big egos. They will make you hate women and not trust them, which is not the way of the Lord.

I think Jon sees what she is and I'm thankful he called her out on the baby shaking (I know it's a competition but that + the Simmons stuff put the house in complete dissaray). It also makes sense that Sam doesn't like her for being a conniving bitch.
