With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

10:52 FT Vance is "plotting" in B1 again. He thinks he's cooler than everyone in the house with terms such as "I can't stop winning", "You get it now" [as both a statement and question], and repeadily says "I am that dude". Reminder: Vance told the audience a few nights ago his mental state was completely in tact. I'm pressing X on that.

10:56 FT Damiel is talking about his experiences with drugs (xanax, coke, ect.). If this is all true I kind of feel bad for him. Not in a pity way, but in a sense of "if this continues this guy is probably going to die soon" which I geninuely never wish on anyone. This is continuing the idea that he's probably here to detox under Jet and co's watch.

also holy fuck, vance , letty and damiel are in a contest of how obnoxious they can be, vance unironically thinks he is the main character of the show, letty is a living caricature of the BPD e-girl and damiel is the lamest plant ever and basically a low budget and effort knockoff of jon
 
I see some people hating on vance for his monologues, and I don't really get it. Yeah, his jokes don't always land, but the dude is just fucking around trying to have some fun with the audience. I'm glad he's not being boring anymore.
 
I don’t think Jon is a plant. Early on they hurt his feelings in the show and Sam scrambled to find ways to pep him up. Also, they filter out negative TTS against him ask to not have his sister pull him out. Too many exterior things going on. Plus, the show runners have proven they can’t pull stuff like this off. I’m not betting on their competence.

Yeah maybe, but he said himself he's on a reality show and trying to entertain. Not everyone's gonna be as funny as Sam or whoever. I know I wouldn't be. I like that he's making an effort. Maybe I'm just soft, because I can't bring myself to dislike any of the contestants anymore, except Damiel.

They don't filter out all negative TTS. Just the ones calling him a tard. During the cell challenge one called him an attention whore.

She gets startled by them all the time. Any sudden noise like that has her shaking her head and looking around most of the time. It's funny when TTS is rapid and she keeps doing it.

I'm honestly surprised how well she holds up but I guess it's more a tick than a negative response.

Adding - When Jon had the bat and was banging it she was looking down and shaking her head until he stopped.
