With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

All of those movies protagonists lack a father, and at least two of them have the protagonist get a father figure during the story that they can look up to. A good look into Jon’s psyche.
 
Jon tells Damiel his "favorite thing to do" was boss Simmons around and tell him what do, even though they had multiple heartfelt conversations. He's backpedaling on ever being his friend, which is okay I guess.

What kinda sucks is there's no obvious positive feedback for Vance on his performance right now. TTS is feeding into it really well and he's bouncing right back so well it's unsettling to the others, but then the crew has told him he needs to do even better a couple of times now.

I don't know if he's good at doing voices, but if he spends his whole deaf day screaming everything in that deaf-guy voice that deaf people have I'll buy one of his shirts.

They should just give him an entrenching tool at this point so he can start tearing down the walls and ripping up the floor boards.

Cominos told him "you're doing great" quietly when he was upstairs, after yelling at Jet and Ben about the mess on Letty's bed. I think that's all he's gotten but we don't know what they said to him in the basement

TTS understandably doesn't want to just say "Good job pretending to be schizophrenic" because that breaks immersion and isn't funny, when they could feed into it with "the CIA is poisoning you, dump garbage on Letty" type messages instead.

It's a bit though.

I'm now starting to really appreciate all the layers to this meta comedy. There's the fake reality show, but everyone knows the show is fake and the host is fake, but they're playing along anyway for the money, but then there's this bit below the surface where the incompetent producers of this fake show are cracking. It's very layered. I was a Kominos hater but now this bit about his dad being the angel investor of Fishtank and now the project is all crashing down on everyone is fucking hilarious.
 
It fucked with me a second there, bedroom one is 2, adn bedroom 2 is one now. Not sure when it happened, but it goes with the shit being said in the room with vance now. 11pm est 5/1

unless.....
some of the fish have shown a bit of genuine concern. it would be hilarious if he just kept the bit going. he could. but not at the same rate he is now, he has been going hard for hours
