With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Going to be interesting going forward, jon just fucking gave up yesterday. Look back over my posts here, I really did like jon, but what did he do in the past 36 hours other than the gender debate last night?
I don't think he's finished at all, I think hyde will keep him around some.
 
RIP Jon. Vance was grinning, he's a very lucky boy.

Jon says he's okay with going out. Claims he's been stressed with the challenges and not being able to go outside. Everyone except Damiel is wishing him goodbye. Edit: Damiel caved at the end and gave him a brohug.

This is gonna be very interesting moving forward. We've had constant Jontards in our ear telling us the show is dead without him, and a bunch of rainbow stickers telling us the cast/crew could finally let loose with him gone. Let's see who's right.
 
Sylvia literally crying that Jon is leaving, while Jon was like (paraphrased) "I don't care, I'm actually happy to go" LMAO
 
To be fair, if Jon was refusing to do the challenge the past day or so he failed the challenge. But damn this really hurt, I will miss the man on the show :(

As much as Jon did generate content I'm pretty sure between outright ignoring the producers and stating several times he felt like leaving; this seems like a calculated move to keep as many fish in the house as they can to try to reach the full six week run time.

It makes sense in retrospect. I’m sure they didn’t appreciate the pressure they were getting from his sister. But it still feels rough to lose our most active fish.
 
I'm shocked but I understand. He barricaded himself in a room yesterday, refused to participate in several challenges, drank himself to the point of vomiting for hours.... Sucks the content machine is gone, but it's probably for the best for Jon.
