Agreed, there's no reason to lie so blatantly when cams are on 24/7. On top of that, Jon isn't the kind of person who knows how to be subtle in his interactions with others. If he and Letty did not do anything he wouldn't have felt a need to so blatantly push Letty away and maintain the distance that he did when he realized that she wasn't in the "in" crowd. Plus Jon was always the one to initiate "tosie-wosie" time iirc.

Edit: I just realized that the same argument can be said for Jon on his end, to that end I will say that Letty already knows that she's hated and the other contestants are banking on her taking all the heat. Being a discord girl she's not a stranger to this kind of treatment and knows that its futile to try and change it. Jon on the other end values his image and fame to the point that he'll impulsively lie or speak in exaggerated half-truths to inflate the impression that others around him have, but has shown that he's willing to twist the truth regardless of what people have seen in the past if it means it reinforces his status as a top J.

I'm all for playing mind games, but lying about Jon being flirtatious when he's not even on the show anymore is bullshit. I'm glad there were cameras on them the entire time so she couldn't lie about something more serious.

Whoever said it near the start of the thread (I'm not digging through all this shit to find it) that Letty was 100% the kind of woman Sam warns his audience about was spot on.

Yeah, I definitely thought Jon was being flirty with Lettie at first but then I thought back to the gay shit he did with Simmons and him not realizing how it came across. I think he did eventually realize when Lettie pushed for more and tried to distance himself after.

That said, it's entirely possible Lettie never realized that he wasn't actually flirting, but I'm not sure what advantage there is to sharing that in terms of her strategy.
