With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

And despite the crew's best effort and even flat out telling them to be more interesting, Josie and Vance refuse to do anything other than participate in challenges.

Besides, maybe the crew is worn out. It's gotta be exhausting trying to come up with shit and also make sure the fish don't get hurt or kill each other every day.

Yeah I suppose that's true. I'm kind of shocked they didn't have more shit preplanned, especially for the elimination challenges. You'd think that Sam and his crew of wiggers/autists could've spent a few days trying to come up with challenges in advance. Either way, it's been a good run. I'm really curious to see what the final edited product will be.

Maybe if they weren't wiggers they could hold out for a few more days and do their jobs. This is surely an exhausting project but they have given the fish rest days that no doubt double as production rest days and the fish tend to get 10+ hours to sleep.
The crew has been a disappointment overall, they've screwed up so much stuff that's inexcusable.

Notably: The vast majority of confessional archives have no audio and they didn't fix it until the last few days.
You could put together a big list of similar inexcusable production fuckups that are mind boggling.
 
Since Vance believes it's over, he is confessing all his sins. He flat out admits that Letty didn't start shit, but he would act like she did and go along with it to get everyone hating her.

Josie, we think the world of you we think you're fantastic, you have true grit. Marching around with Vance for 9 hours was awesome. We wish you luck dealing with the stalkers

Vance, the ironhorse of the show. We put you in a WP2 sketch because we think you earned it. We're all extremely Vance-pilled but...

We went down there we deliberated and made it as fair as possible. We all spoke and didn't play favourites. We asked fans for input. In the end this person who won the 35K we feel that they are the most resilient, most impressive competitor, most hungry for it, most deserving of it, and we factored in what the winner will do with the money. This is who we think made the show as strong as possible. And that person is Letty.

Hard to tell what is serious or not but Sam told Vance while "out of character" that he'd like to do 2 a year.
 
Sam was definitely not involved as he could have been due to WP2, Jet's a good "good cop" but his bits are improv and like pouring water on the floor. I actually think a season 2 could work with Sam there with the wiggers and much better screening / preplanning.

I hope this thread stays alive for the inevitable fallout. Letty needs to go into hiding.
 
LMAO Letty is the winner. This is going to cause maximum seethe. I'm not a lettychud and overall wanted Vance to win since he will have the least opportunity to egrift after the show, but I think the decision is justified. Josie will be good no matter what, she'll be able to make bank doing virtually anything she wants on the internet.

I have to say this is a really downer way to end the show. Not the vibes you want for the finale.
 
Letty can't believe it, she's astounded. It is well and truly over. Fish going to a hotel for the night.

Pretty sad, Letty wants to say proper goodbyes. Jon leaves without saying anything to her, Josie jumps up and doesn't say anything, Vance gives a half hearted platitude before leaving. Chris, ironically enough, is the one with the best parting words, telling her no one really hates her, she played the game and did a good job. Also says he will play fall guys with her if she hits him up.
