TBH her speech sounded terrible, I could see what she was trying to say but she worded it pretty poorly and kept saying "like" which made her sound inauthentic. But I didn't watch the whole thing so maybe it ended up better. I can't catch Josie's speech rn so maybe hers will end up even worse than Letty's. Not like it matters, the decisions are almost always random. I'm sure this will go to Josie no matter what.

My (gay and retarded) prediction is that the points will stay close (since they are fake anyway) and there will be a tie that goes to "sudden death" and the tie-breaker will be whoever says "Me!" first or something equally arbitrary and dumb.

Over all, I have enjoyed the show and I like the concept. There were parts where I just tuned out for a while because I didn''t find whatever arc at the time entertaining. I wish I were more interested in the ending, but it just seems to me like Jet and crew are phoning it in and have no plan aside from "make money".

Edit: he's washing a shirt in the sink. Specifically the shirt with the Confederate flag in pride colors. He wrung it out on the floor, put it in the dryer, and went back into the basement. That's one of those $100 shirts from that website. Hand wash only. Hopefully he knows they're tumble dry low too, and he doesn't nuke it with heat to destroy the image.

It's funny that the ending is just nothing, the viewership is incredibly low considering that tomorrow is the final day. In retrospect I think the fake end on Tuesday, which was a genuinely great troll, hurt the show overall. I kind of checked out after it - I'd love to know if there was a creative reason behind it other than "it would be somewhat funny".

I think Letty is just not the kind of crazy they thought she was. She has more of like a middle school girl acting out vibe than a Machavellian villain. She just seems immature and socially maladjusted to me.

I think they put her in the box of "CRAZY BPD CHICK!" and try to trigger her based on that, but she really does not have a typical BPD reaction to conflict at all. You can tell she gets upset but she doesn't have the kind of psycho meltdown I think they want her to give.

They probably thought they'd get the BPD freakout when Jon came back, but she managed her emotions pretty well. She didn't even really want to destroy his bible and Ben had to coax her. Jon was the one who came out looking like the more emotionally unstable one.

It's so weird to see production and fans try to fit her in this box she doesn't really fit in. She's obviously got plenty of issues, but they keep trying to get a reaction out of her that it just doesn't seem her style to give.

BPD has become a 4chan catchall for "woman I dislike". That's all the "LETTY IS BPD!!!!!!!" Shit is. An actual person with borderline would not last a week in the tank before having a massive meltdown and leaving.

If anyone on the show was BPD it would be Betty because she was covered in self harm scars.

Something about the actual crew hanging out in the basement and having Chris administer challenges on his own, giving him instructions through walkie talkie, is really funny to me. Maybe it's just seeing Chris in a position of authority but something about it is really amusing. The show is such a clusterfuck but that's part of the charm.

Letty surprisingly just won the "Spin as fast as you can" challenge.

Chris made a dumb joke about putting a roller-coaster in the house over the walkie talkie and production couldn't understand him so he had to repeat it 4 times and then they just ignored him. It's the little moments like that that make me laugh.

Glad to see more people discussing this in the thread. In my eyes, people wanted a villain on the show who would actually try and manipulate people from behind the scenes and sabotage others in effective ways. Basically do what Damiel failed to do. I feel like Letty could've been this if the crew played their cards right, but any time she tried to enter a "piss witch" persona, she was actively hated on for it or straight up punished by the crew for doing it.

The baby shaking challenge was a key moment in the show. If Sam came in and didn't say anything about Vance or Letty shaking Jon's baby, that would've reinforced the idea of sabotage being an effective method and Letty most likely of used it to her advantage in the future. Sam didn't do that, and by snitching about who shook the baby, it effectively killed any future sabotage attempts. This was disastrous content wise in my opinion.

Later on, Letty tried to play into her role as the villain and persona of the piss witch. Instead of rewarding her content making actions, they seemed to do the exact opposite of what they should've done. They had every freeloader target her putting her through weeks of non stop dog piling while the other fish got off with a fraction of the shit she dealt with. This, again, subtly put into Letty's mind that things such as sabotage would only hurt her in the long run. You want to be the Piss Witch? Well then we'll have Frank Hassle constantly harass you. You want to sabotage others? Then we'll tape you to ASF and constantly rig challenges with twitter polls.

The reason why so many people call Letty BPD and evil is because they want somebody they can hate. It's a reality TV show at the end of the day, and people want to see the person they perceive as "evil" suffer. Letty got thrown into that box for a few reasons. She's a chick with a sketchy past who pushed herself in certain challenges. She tried to sabotage her competition early on and was punished for it. It's much easier for a person to look at that and think "Wow, what a fucking BPD bitch, I ain't no simp, she's pure fucking evil." Rather than "Wow, this person is trying really hard to win this show, to the point where she's dealing with a constant shit storm because of it. That's admirable."

Letty is at the worst a naive person who lacks basic life skills who made shitty choices in her early life, and is willing to do some morally dubious stuff to win. You don't have to like her as a person, but you have to admit that someone willing to go through the shit she went through on this show deserves the win more than the people who barely went through anything.

That's a good point, I doubt any of the people who hate her would hate her outside of a reality show context. She's a much more normal person that she gets portrayed as. She was never my favorite contestant but I respect her work ethic. She knows this is a show meant to entertain people and so she dials it up and tries to be entertaining. It would be pretty kino if she won.
