With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Josie had a LOT of simps; on the Josie note I guess, she had at least like 500, more like 1000, bucks worth of plushies thrown at her. The one thing I find out of Josie is that she has a remarkable ability to handle stress, a lot of the events of the show did not phase her.

What amazes me is no one involved on the show seemed to lean into the things that did bother her. It's possible her life would be very different right now if Frank poured liquids on her to the point she had no clean clothes. Or if someone ruined her personal suitcase which she was sentimental about and protective of. Or killed Queso, her personal stuffed toy... The list is extensive.

She laughs when under stress which confuses harassers yet no one seemed to pick up on this except stalkers like me. Later on she admitted this to explain laughing when Jon was going to tear Letty's passport, which is clear in the footage. I don't think she would have ever left due to sunk cost fallacy and having a real desire to win but they never pushed it. As a Josie enjoyer, it was very lame how easy they went on her.

If they did they MAY have shown Josie having autistic tantrums which would be bad on ratings. I'm sure Jet told them to lay off of her, sympathetically. He was the one that led her on to give Sam her doll, not one of the other 2 cast members left.

Honestly just glad she's not pooning out, as it seemed like a possibility at one stage.
I think for the majority of fish, being on there, eased out their internet illnesses and helped them develop.

I don't think she ever wore fishnets in the tank. Most of the time, especially after week 3, she wore pants and t-shirts. The anime girl outfit is classic, though.

She's always wanted to do stuff but lack of money has prevented it. With AX in particular she shared wanting to go before but "broke bitch moment."
There hasn't been much opportunity to settle down back into her depressing life pre-Fishtank, she was home for about a week and busy during that time, then went to AX. When she returns she has about a month before she goes to her usual con to sell merch. July will be a good indicator of how she may perform from here on out.

If she doesn't figure it out, she's going to have money that will disappear faster than anticipated and be, at most, a few years older with nothing to show for it. Plus she eats like shit, doesn't exercise, vapes, drinks too much and probably does or will do other drugs. Once her bad habits start showing physically, she's fucked and I don't think she's given any thought to her looks being relevant to her "character."

I hope she does well but she doesn't seem to give much of a shit outside of having fun and will return to drinking in her room while fucking around on Discord.

Vance's "secret stream"
  • He had enormous internet issues for most of the stream, same as last time he was live. like fix your shit bro
  • He did a black metal Colleen Ballinger apology for his internet issues. He tried to sing straight-up for about two bars, got embarrassed, and switched to screaming.
  • Tyson showed up to antagonize him and somehow every time he sent in a donation the stream would freeze
I do manage to have a take about this, even though it was pretty nontent.
First I gotta start with this: regarding Letty, it was definitely extremely hard to tell, whether she was actually just WILDLY gullible or playing along at times. But like with the heat nails thing, she was definitely just Yes-anding what Josie and Vance were giving her, because it's much funnier to watch her put boards in the bathtub than say "heat nails don't exist."

Letty is Yes-and, and Vance is No-but. Lance says he took the Rainier sponsorship, Vance says no but they didn't. Lance says do the ice bucket challenge, Vance says no but I don't have to. Lance says he stole Vance's cat, Vance says no but I still have my cat. Frank and Simon say these are the house rules, Vance says no but we revolt and don't follow them. Sam says fuck with Josie, Vance says no but I'll fuck with Letty.

edit to add: Tyson basically handed Vance a whole concept: let's play HORSE, right? Do the ice bucket challenge. Then do something else. Then Lance can do that thing and then make Vance do it. But Vance is like, no, do not pester me, I have Gmail gags to run into the dirt...

Simmons offered him a whole ass lesson on Yes-and on day 2, if only he had listened to Simmons he would be funnier today...

Her friend Jose wrapped up his time at AX today. He doesn't @sheep_xing in the second pic. @giovxnniz34 is included, he's the other friend Josie went with. He's visible in previous clips but otherwise not notable in this context. Perhaps everyone will be home for July 4th.
