With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

They mentioned their clothes were chosen for them to exemplify their personality, which explains the 70's aesthetic and what Tayleigh is wearing.

Think Tayleigh just made a Rick and Morty joke. Good Lord.

Tayleigh is also a pipe smoker.

I am fully convinced the "EVERY CUTE GIRL IS SECRETLY A GUY" is people projecting their trans fetish. There is no other explanation for it.
 
Was looking around for contestants socials just for fun but didn't find anything. I want to congratulate this guy following Jet on getting in as early as possible.

Summary of Day 1 Part 1

Shinji arrives first
  • Engrish professional. Despite what people predicted he seems to be fairly fluent.
  • Talked with Jet a couple of times, Ben asked him what he thought about the place. He liked the Christmas setup.
  • Wanders around the house a couple times, kind of annoying to keep track of. He then proceeded to sit on the bedroom 3 couch.
  • About ten minutes later Josie comes in to ask him a question with a camera. Proceeds to leave less than a minute later. Only to return and say goodnight awkwardly. He's a college student.
    • From what I can guess she might not even be a freeloader but a part of the crew. Still too early to tell though.
    • For some reason Ben and Josie are seen constantly carrying buckets of water and a mop. Basement might be flooding

  • 30 minutes later and he's still on this couch.
  • He might be asleep now.

  • It's been an hour and they are still carrying buckets filled with water back and forth between the two doors in the above picture featuring janny Josie.


Second Fish Arrives at 3:50pm, Trisha.

  • Much more outspoken than Shinji. Starts a conversation with him only for it to end and for her to explore.
  • Eventually comes back to talk with Shinji about basic shit. How'd they arrive, wehre they are from, what rooms they claim. Both say they have no idea idea what they're getting in to.
  • Both say they are nervous. Shinji confirms he came to America three years ago. Trisha says she's never been to the east coast, confirming that the show is on the east coast.
  • Trisha was blindfolded but Shinji says he wasn't for some reason.They both proceed to explore the house with banter in between. They check out the kitchen to see what kind of food the house has.
    • Shinji, the asian, asks if she found any rice.
    • Goldstriker coffee is in the house
  • Trisha claims one of the beds in bedroom number 2, the pink one. After this they go back to the livingroom to talk about the house some more. Both drink alcohol and look forward to the bar.
  • As of now they continue to wander around the house. No locks are on bathrooms apparently. Trish also works at a Deli.


Third Fish Arrives at 4:30pm, Summer.

  • High pitched voice, sounds a bit like Letty but even more airheaded and higher pitched. Greets the two fish in the living room then goes upstairs to find a room.
  • She tells Trisha how much she enjoys the house and the seventies design.
  • Shinji makes her look at the bunk room in the b3 closet. She says it’s so weird to be talking to new people she’s never met before. Trish agrees.
  • Shinji confirms he’s from Japan and Summer says she’s from Kansas. She likes to read through travel guides. She really likes manga. “You can be anything you want to be in Anime” -Summer
  • Trish and Summer ask Shinji what anime he likes (lol). They proceed to talk about what anime they like. Shinji likes DMC and Summer likes Death Note.
  • She said she worked at a bakery, she then quit to be on the show.
  • She also brought dolls to be on the show and wanted to bring her journal, but the stickers on it were too new.
  • This bitch is going to get SWARMED by simps, that is my prediction. She just said she can bake, every basement dweller just came.
  • "Are all the Santas in this house black?" -Summer
  • Trish says "We have fried rice." Shinji immediately responds "We have???"
  • They are now talking in bedroom 3 talking about random shit. Trish forgot her glasses. Summer says she brought a ton of manga, Shinji asks her what kind she brought. She says she brought one for kids called "kitchen princess" because it had recipes in it. The fish notice that there's no clock in the house.
  • Apperently the crew asked the fish to wear outfits that suit their personalities.


Fourth Fish Arrives, Tayleigh. Pronounced tay-lee not tay-lay according to her. (Note, not sure if they’re a tranny or not. I will refer to them as “she” for simplicity at the moment. Consensus in sneedchat is that she's an ugly woman.)

  • Introduced to the other fish. Arrived with a red bull in hand. Starts exploring and takes an interest in the real fish present in the house. Says they get pissed off when you show them a mirror. After exploring the upstairs she returns to the living room with the other fish.
  • The fish, for the third time now, show the new fish the bunk room in the b3 closet.
  • Not much to talk about this time around as the fish are walking around the house again while Tayleigh explores.
  • Trish and Summer talk about the crawl space door in the b2 closet. There’s a padlock on it. Not sure if it’s going to be off limits for now or for the entire show.
  • Tayleigh notices Summer’s deftones tattoo and says that she has a Green Day tattoo.
  • Currently the fish are in the kitchen talking about boring shit again like their flights to the house.
  • “It’s pipe tobacco. It’s cheaper and healthier than vape or cigarettes… in my opinion.” -Tayleigh.
  • First TTS comes in. “Who’s hungry?” Probably the crew. A couple seconds after the first sound clip plays. It’s people vomiting. Fish are confused, but take it on the chin. Fish discover that there’s weed stashed in a cabinet and don’t fall for the trap.

Fifth Fish Arrives, Thomas. Wants to be called TJ.

  • Introduces himself in the kitchen. Seems really awkward, as he continues to sway back and forth. He greeted the fish by saying “salutations” lol.
  • Volunteers to take bed in the pink bedroom. He also has really long hair. Possibly gay.
  • Apparently works on a flour mill by filling bags with flour. While he is telling the fish this he swings his arms a lot.

  • He is now swaying like an autist.

  • More icebreakers in the livingroom. Summer is a consoomer collector. She goes to the walmart kids section. Tayleigh complains about how kids these days don't play with toys and play with phones instead.
  • Everyone's grandma is pissed at them for going on the show.
  • Tayleigh keeps asking Shinji stupid fucking questions about his religion in Japan. TJ asks Shinji if he likes KFC lmao

As of right now they are talking about stuff that isn't very important or interesting. Basic day 1 stuff. I will make another post after the next five fish arrive or something really interesting happens.
