With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

Last night the fish were made to sort themselves by attractiveness, then the males chose a female partner. They had to do one on one question/answer things, and then Sam would discuss with each fish one on one. He was getting frustrated that no one was asking any clarifying questions. He told everyone that the other was interested in them.

The funniest part was when Sam interviewed Shinji, who said his hobby was hentai and that for work he's done porn and was a prostitute. He also likes Super Hot VR.

Megan(?) tried to get Sam to sing, since his character was in the industry. I couldn't tell if she was catching on and playing off of him, the way that Letty did, or if she was trying to expose him.

After Megan won the rice counting competition the male fish were asked to pick which girls they found most attractive. Cole picked Summer, Shinji picked Megan, TJ picked Tay, and Jimmy picked Trish. The fish then went into the rooms to ask each other questions and write down each others answers on paper. Sam would then take them individually and ask them about the other fish under the guise of being a wingman.

It was funny watching the guys go back and forth about how they weren't attracted to the women but not wanting to be mean. Cole said Summer was outright hot, TJ was nervously rocking the whole time and stuttering like a mad man. Sam took a liking to Shinji, Cole, and maybe Megan from what I could tell. It was revealed Shinji was actually a pornstar and a porn addict. Summer was telling Sam she was very intimidated by him at first. Tay took literally no interest in TJ whatsoever and moped around for the majority of the night, most likely because she had to explain why she was last place in the attractive scale.

I’m pretty sure he was being sarcastic. When Cole was talking to Sam about why each girl wasn’t that attractive he got to Megan said they could just skip over her, presumably because she’s so ugly lol.

Despite me muting Jimmy's autism occasionally, they truly have a much better cast so far. Least people are talking to each other and feel somewhat distinct. I could've just described most of the people from S1 as just "there". The show needs to start TTS up soon. While I'm enjoying it, I think there's only so much sitting around and talking I can handle in a day.
 
Thinking more on the crazy drunk chats in the lounge last night, throwing Jimmy in there may have been a Sam pick- you have a guy from the start of the Gen Z age range in a house full of people more toward the younger end, the younger group's still hopeful and taking their Joy, the older guy has been through that and is now two steps from being the Postal Dude, it's a raw and unhinged contrast that keeps the group from being too comfortable and gives them all a wakeup call that life in this country's not fine and trying to play cute won't stave off stress induced schizophrenia for all that long. No way someone as gaytarded as Jet would have made that pick, Jimbo's basically every other midwestern /pol/ poster nowadays and Jet wants his semivirtual doll house.

A while ago Summer mentioned that her father wasn't a part of her life and that she only ever saw him a couple of times.
Not really a surprise, having no father figure explains pretty much everything about her.

Fishtank makes for great anthropological study. More so than watching someone's day-to-day life since the show delves into the desire of many people: fame without the effort or talent.
 
I'd try and make this myself but my current computer can't run Adobe Premire I'd love to see a side by side of season 1's first night vs season 2s. Season 2's felt so much wilder to me. I feel like giving the Fish booze loosened them up a bunch.
