With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

It was apple sauce. He spread it all over the beds, including his own, and Jimmy's shorts that he hates so much.

Then he brought everyone in to see and played it off like it wasn't him. Jet, not allowing content that he can't take credit for, ruins this my calling all the fish down to the living room for a fashion show.
 
I was predicting Megan will be the new paypigs for the producer just like Josie was based on the life story competition. Boy was I wrong, but it's a pleasant suprise. I bet she misses all the thrill she got when bullying children on Roblox and now trying to outlet it by being a menace.

I think that the house is so active compared to season one that ironically it's harder to stand out. I think that the fish will have a chance to shine when 2-3 are eliminated. Currently, in the smaller rooms, everyone is talking over each other. It has a wild house party feel. There hasn't been enough room for interpersonal drama. None of this is bad. Just a bi-product of a different environment/ more energetic cast.

I hope they don't do the freeloader bit like the last season. The reason why the first half of season 1 is entertaining for me is because there are many interpersonal dramas between the fishes like between Jon and Simon becomes friend and than betrayed because the baseless accusation that Simon is a pedo, the initial romance between Letty and Jon, and also the drama between Letty, Mauro, Jon and his shaken plastic baby.

After that I tuned out half second of the season 1 because Jet retarded decision to make the show his personal dollhouse and his e-celeb friends hangout spot.

the staff desperately needs to give them an outlet that isnt pouring liquids on each other. that shit got old very quickly last season.

You are confusing Simmons with Simon. Simmons was the Chinese camp counsler who wrote a book on camping and Simon was the Vietnamese standup comedian from Pflugerville. Also dude what initial romance between Letty and Jon? Jon was in a borderline gay relationship with Simmons for the first two weeks.
 
Just tuned in and see Summer changing her clothes, we get a panty shot. Then she is cursing and saying she's going to throw up again.

Jimmy is talking with Trish and giving her fashion advice. Then when she leaves Jimmy looks at a camera and says "I'm giving the girls fashion advice for you guys, remember that."

This is Jet's blind spot. He interfered with much of the natural reality stuff playing out last season. Then you saw a lot of this in his editing the final product. There's a reason why the edited version of Season 1 bombed. He can't see past his own ego and fails to understand what makes the show engaging. Luckily the live product can only be affected so much by his tampering.
 
Summer gets done changing into a new outfit and then goes back to sit with the group. "That was so stressful! I threw up again. Idk why!" Everyone assures her it's okay and she has anxiety.

I'm starting to go from indifferent to annoyed with Summer. I get anxiety sucks but I can't stand self victimizing. Really hoping this show is extreme exposure therapy for her and she grows up, otherwise she's going to quickly become my least favorite.
 
Shinji killed it in effort for the runway contest. Megan in full profile is disgusting. Shocked by the people behind her.

Edit: TJ was paypigged into winning. Shinji was announced as the winner. Then there was a massive spike in votes getting him the W last second.

I found it annoying that TJ won the fashion contest because of that one whale deciding the outcome of the poll. Do you guys think it should be one vote per viewer real democracy style? Sam and Jet wouldn't make as much money, but that shit kind of pissed me off.

The cash model is exploitative in the same way that recent Silent Hill game is but no one really cares. I just wish they wouldn't be gay about it and let the donos decide the winner.
 
After the fashion contest Jet pulled Cole aside and told him to investigate if Brian and Trish fucked last night. He was told to question other fish on what they know. Jet’s excuse was the the cameras went down in b3 last night and he can’t ask because it will make him look incompetent as a producer.

Credit to @Polyboros2 for this theory. Since Brian is most likely a plant this "investigation” could be used as an excuse to give Brian the boot first. This makes the elimination seem genuine and could give Cole an ego boost since his first official “investigation” resulted in Brian getting kicked off the show. This is all just speculation though.
