With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

TJ seems to be a lot more happy and engaging after drinking. I still can't hear what he's saying though since he's pretty soft spoken.

JC has a mission from Sam, if she does it, she gets $2,500. She has to do 5 things:

1. Find out the fishes least favorite fish
2. Hide someone's glasses and hide them where they can't be found for 4 hours
3. Take TJ's shirts and hide them, convince him to go around topless
4. Steal all of Meg and Summer's chips, break them and leave them chipless. If can't find chips, take Summer's dolls
5. Convince Cole there is a mystery that he needs to solve

Sam and Jet gassing up Cole to invsae everyones privacy and schizo out about being Sherlock Holes is so genius its incredible
 
JC has set to work on her tasks already, she hid TJ's shirts and she's already talked to Cole about a mystery. She's a bad actor about it but Cole is tipsy and also probably autistic so he seems to buy it, at least right now.

1. Should be fairly easy, most people will probably say Jimmy.
2. Should also be fairly straight forward, take it during the night.
3. Second Hardest, convincing him to be topless would barely work and would immediately arouse suspicion
4. Hardest
5. Easiest if it weren't for JC being horribly incompetent and already fucking it up.

Sam also said "if you get found out... you might get eliminated." About the dolls, Sam said "if you're desperate, if you wanna halfway-win and make it so it's hard for us to take you off, take her dolls." So this is really like, his ultimatum towards her for being too bland and boring. Reminds me of the menace challenge and how that was Vance's do or die. Before leaving, he told her to stay in the room for two minutes so it's not "suspicious," then farted and closed the door behind him.

She's really bad at acting and keeping her lies convincing. Again I miss Letty for things like these, she would have thought up something good.

Cole does seem to buy it for now. But who knows, maybe he'll tell the audience later that he doesn't trust her and is just going along with it.

Another story, at the psyche ward. There was an aggressive woman had anger issues. She flipped over the day room chairs, barricaded herself in the room, and then put baby lotion on the cameras, also had other girls join in to protest the facility. SWAT team was almost called, Summer was one of the only woman who didn't protest so she got a pizza party with the other women who weren't causing a ruckus.

Best part of that story is that the protest was started by someone "who's name sounded like Mahogany but spelled ethnically."

Summer asking Sam after he sat down if he goes to anime conventions and cosplayed got a great reaction from Sam.

Sam asked why Summer's Gay, Straight Alliance friends turned on her and she told a rambling story about her girlfriend turning on her and making up stories about raping her 11 year old sister.
 
I know we are all on season 2 but I just finished the season 1's finale edit and it's so sweet how Josie says she was "super scared" Letty would walk away with nothing.

Our boy Cole already dismissive yet suspicious. He’s going to hit this dead end and expose JC

She said she was told by the crew that she and Cole need to look inside the bunk bed platform and also find a clue "inside the stripes" in bedroom 3. It's not really the lie itself that's bad, it's vague enough that it could work, the problem is that she's so bad at selling it, like she acts too dramatic with trying to act "confused" etc.

Something about the stripes meaning something and numbers being in the walls that will help crack the lock code. When he went downstairs and told the group at the bar about the numbers Sam outright said "there's no numbers in the wall dude." and JC had to babble her way out of it. IMO I think he'll find out its fake soon enough.

As a side note Jet sent up some detective TTS while JC was talking to Cole about the "mystery" so he kind of helped her out. Kind of lame, but whatever.

1. Pretty easy, but JC running around asking people will make her get suspicious.
2. Night run
3. Night run, but harder than it looks on the first glance. As soon TJ sees his shirts being gone or Shinji noticing it he'll know that something's up.
4. Summer willingly gave JC her chips ("I'll pay you back", etc.), Megan's chips shouldn't be too hard to swipe. But that requires Meg stashing her chip she got from the Blackjack event.
5. She's fucked if Cole schizo's out and observes JC for a little while.

The issue with a night run: Summer's bed in the upper hallway.
