Season two has proved this theory correct. TJ was the least popular fish and he stimmed even more than Josie. He didn't become more liked until he actually started talking and got totally shitfaced. If TJ goes back to his regular stimming routine tomorrow he will be forgotten about again.

Honestly a great idea considering the format. plus it can lead to them doing other seasons in other decades. Also have to apologize about the casting. Literally better than the first season. My only complaint is i have a strong feeling they're all plants. or at least a fuck load of them are. It doesn't really matter they all just do what production says anyways (which is what happens on all reality shows BTW, which is why they dont have "plants")

I Love Cole. He's like a guy from a show on the Sci-fi channel level of handsome and it feels like a real show. in general everyone is a fuck load better at the game. Its not like last season where half of the cast is sitting in their rooms doing nothing. If they get their shit together especially when it comes to a lore master and building arcs i can see them actually selling this season once they break it up into 2 hour long episodes.

The bar is an amazing addition as well, between that and the smoking it really makes it feel like they thought about how to force people to come together and hang out, instead of letting half the cast sit in their rooms alone all day keeping TTS entertained.

I will always enjoy the first season because i love how fucking shitty first seasons of reality shows are, but this is the "real" show as far as i'm concerned. Also i don't see the women being waifu'd like Josie was, which might be a problem from a financial aspect but its more entertaining that way. Having said that i enjoy Tay, she's what people used to call a tomboy a decade ago. a Jordan Jensen for the fishtank crowd. I'm more surprised the non-white chicks aren't getting as much love this time around either, might be because Josie is still around moping the floor like spongebob.

I feel like the coalburning and general nasty attitude towards TTS will lead to summer fucking off, Honestly for a bitch like her missing christmas and new years will fucking destroy her emotionally. everyone's slowly run out of sympathy and she's made enemies of everyone with her weird offputting shit. Either Sam cuts out all the fun so the girls don't get triggered or they leave the house. I have a hard time believing any of them besides Meg can withstand the letty style harassments that will come next year.

Meg clearly was a fan and is probably a poweruser here or on the chans, she just has the body and temperment of that. Also, this might be weird, but what if they just don't kick anyone out? switch it up. no longer be a show where they kick people off (did they really do that much besides with jon?) and just have it be a show where everyone stays until the end unless they refuse to do enough tasks or they voluntarily drop out. people's enjoyment of the show never really came from the competition so why not just either drop that aspect or only have competitions be to decide in-game prizes. That would really make it unique because it would be a reality show where the contestants can leave whenever and its up to them to stick around and win. Plus maybe they could have the way contestants drop out be something like they bang a gong or smash a button or break some ceramic fish with their name on it, after going to the producers to announce their leaving.

I don't think he's hated, he's just forgotten. And on Fishtank being forgotten is far worse than being hated by the audience. For example, I hate Jimmy. I think he's annoying, unfunny, interrupts kino moments, and lacks any qualities of a contestant I would want to win. Despite this, I would still rank him in my top 3 fish because he is content. He gives me and many others someone to hate and he gives the fish someone to hate as well. A lot of people didn't like Jon in the first season, but even they have to acknowledge the lack of content after he left. Content is central to the show, whether it's annoying or not.

It wasn't until today that TJ did anything of substance and that was after he got super drunk. The moment you become boring is the moment you should fear elimination. That's why I think as of now Trish and TJ are most likely to be axed with a huge emphasis on Trish.

We're seeing something somewhat similar right now with Cole, he's not nearly as interactive with other Fish without prodding but he is very receptive to TTS and is constantly listening to what others say. He will retreat just to talk up close to the camera when there's no need. It's the viewer engagement that people love, even if so far in Season 2 that "viewer" is often in the basement forcing him to slump into this autistic detective role.

Conveniently, as soon as he gets drunk his interaction with TTS shoots up and he talks to TTS in his room and his endorsements shoot up, all without stimming. Go figure. Viewer engagement leads to popular fish or something.
