jimmy just took shinji aside next to the bar and said to look him in the eyes when he said the next word, "simmons". shinji was very clearly confused. jimmy then explained that judge gave him a secret mission he was not allowed to disclose his mission.

Also didn’t want to double post but my previous post already got reacts soooooo.

Summer is not manipulating or faking/playing it up. That was Letty. You could tell because she could turn it off at will when she wanted to, summer can’t turn it off. She lives life in a self perpetuating cycle of being completely unstoppable followed by constant self-loathing over annoying everyone. She is going to spend the entire night hating herself for yelling, being a bitch, and being obnoxious. This is her life whenever she is around others which is why she keeps to herself. Probably why she was also a pooner and a furry…anything to just be someone other than herself. I don’t think you can “act” to the degree that summer has day in and day out like that, it just takes way too much energy.
 
brian and trish kissed again at brians behest, it was very awkward. he has spent a lot of time trying to convince her of the benefits of having sex on the show, he has failed all the speech checks so far.

i havent watched that room much because im ODing on cringe.

This might be a hot take but anyone else get the feeling just letting the Fish drink and get to know each other makes for better content then the hellhouse shit? I watched the finale of season 1 a night or two ago and the cell 2 challenge just got tedious after awhile. It just dragged on and on. Watching season 2 and just seeing them get drunk and see the interpersonal drama infold to me is more interesting then the forced "torture" stuff.
 
It’s clear that the hellhouse cell challenge finale was because nobody knew what the fuck they were doing or how they should end the show. This season seems like way more thought was put into it already.
 
Detective Cole went into Summer's Doghouse, grabbed a bunch of shit and almost slipped trying. He then quickly showed the bar cam that Summer is learning Japanese for Shinji. Proving that he was right in her having a crush on him. Vance BTFO.

Edit: Jimmy claims that Shinji brought those cards to Summer. The mutual love between the coomer and the BPD lady is strange indeed.

I just had a realization, I thought it was odd seemingly every single Fish smokes/vapes, that they gave them a big supply of tobacco.

It's too drive them crazy by cutting them off. Maybe less severe and more of a week long "No nicotine" challenge.

I think it's been great for the introduction. I really don't think fish should start getting eliminated until at least mid way through week 2. We need to get to really know these people, first though comradry, then through animosity, and the first taste of them really being stressed, before we really get a feel for them. Plus going to hard early on is going to havey it boring later on, week 5 and 6 need to really stand out from the rest of the show, and constant hell for the final 3 in the last week.
