It's a good calm before the storm type situation (minus summer who is just a force they didn't predict). The crew has a heavy hand in forcing or pushing interactions but I would say it's done in a good way that lets the fish more or less be themselves and socialize. It's a good way to get them and the audience to know and care about each other before putting them through ridiculous activities that test all of their personalities and willpower. It's important for the audience to know the characters before they start shucking them and making them go through crazy experiences.

I think putting a bunch of weirdos in a house and torturing them is funny on paper, but I agree in practice it gets boring pretty fast. It's comparable to weens trying to get a rise out of Chris Chan, it's much funnier when the torment is self-inflicted via retardation and/or hubris rather than being manufactured. Fatty angrily stomping towards the stairs and falling on his face was a thousand times funnier than any of the season finale torture stuff.

sam retweeted the clip of vance getting his head shaved with the caption "this was the real of fishtank, the real finale" and i agree looking back. hell house is a funny idea but not for weeks on end.

i think the biggest hindrance was the eliminations themselves, theres not much you can do with just two people in a house. that being said hell in a cell was fun to watch at the time.

No he’s some Instagram or other aggregate site follower that takes content from such places and puts them on the feed for entertainment. He referred to /pol/ and some 4chan stuff as being places where they post the flag they’re from. I think he mentioned having an account somewhere. I think ifunny?

Summer said on like day 1 or 2 she was learning Japanese in college, and she's also a weeb. It makes sense to me that she's into a Japanese dude. Shinji seems like a huge coomer that will fuck any woman, so I doubt he actually likes Summer.

Sam gathers the fish in the living room. Summer isn't anywhere to be seen. Sam says a woman (Summer) had a breakdown. Sam says some people have suggested that they send Summer home. He disagrees. He says when someone has a psychotic breakdown, they need swamp magic.

Sam says they're having a swamp magic ceremony. Summer is finally seen. She is told to lay down in the living room floor for the ceremony. He has everyone chant "OOGA CHAGA!" over and over.

Sam lights a potato and says "THE RETARDATION IS LEAVING!" and Summer, to her credit is acting like an evil spirit is leaving her body.

Keep in mind this is all while the fish are chanting.

After the "magic" is over Sam takes Summer to the dog house, where she is "sleeping" now. Sam goes back to the living room and asks the fish what game they want to play. Suggests hide and seek. Jimmy has a suggestion. Sam asks "Does it have to do with rape?" and Jimmy says "You put one finger in your ass and one in your mouth. Then you say "switch!" and switch fingers."

Meg suggests "Ninja". Which they all agree on. Idk what Ninja is. Meg says she needs to discuss the rules with Tay.

it's also a good social activity, they bond over it, and when the cutoff comes and cigarettes become a challenge prize, it's going to form bonds with the sharers and enemies with the hoarders.
