There is no one to root for anymore. I like Shinji but he's not main character material, Jimmy is an unlikable manchild, Brian is fucking insufferable and I don't care about the girls at all.

There is still time for one of the ladies to shine, don't give up hope yet. I'm convinced Brian is a paid actor. His theatrics are over the top and cringy. If he isn't a paid actor then that makes everything worse, that means he's a real pathetic loser.

I'm still supporting Jimmy. My opinion of him changes every hour though.

Brian’s pathetic and Jewish nature are exactly what make him entertaining. I’m very certain he’s the one who’s going to be this seasons Letty by the end. I see that same sort of drive in him to do whatever he has to in order to win, even if it means debasing himself to do it. He’s been a loser in his life up to this point, and if he’s determined to change that, he’ll eat whatever shit he has to in order to make it happen.

It sounds like a bit of an arse pull to reset the current direction of the show, at Sam's behest. That's what I'd put money down on. Considering we're back to the original 10 fish

So yes, the four freeloaders (The black guy, Nifty, Delaney, Taylor) plus the six remaining fish makes ten. Ten fish, right back to where we started, plus the genders are balanced again, five guys and five girls. That's what the reset is about. Also, Sam said at first that there's "an actor," implying there's only one. We know the black guy's an actor because he just up and said it like a dummy, much to Sam's chagrin.

But Nifty has very mild reactions to being called fat dyke fat dyke fat dyke over and over for someone who says stuff like "you know, not letting me sleep is technically a form of torture." And Sam just gave up the charade and said that Delaney was a "paid actress" almost as soon as she came on, so I'm guessing Taylor is one too. Sam will be redoing this season with four faux fish whose time he's paying for. I'm sure there's more to add here but the site is being DDOSed and this is all I'm willing to do.

Letty was an underdog and entertaining. Brian is incredibly dull yet has every fish following him and seems to be Jets favourite with how much time was spent on that shitty romance drama. I actively change cams whenever he is the focus of the room because he just destroys the vibe.

In the Elan version, described in a former member's comic, you have to sit at the opposite end of the person you're talking to. In the tank, Sam will often tell whoever is talking to switch seats so they're on the opposite end. They also constantly tell them to speak up, which is partly because the mics do suck but I feel like it's also because they want them to begin yelling without directly saying so which does make them start yelling sometimes.
 
TBH I would be nervous about doing a mock 'Elan School' fish tank when there is a barely mentally stable former student who is still verbally upset about it and visibly traumatized by it. I would worry about triggering a latent PTSD episode and having him bludgeon someone to death.

i agree, i want them all to lose now and have lost a lot of interest.
 
I was initially lukewarm on doing a total reset but this could be interesting with Sam calling the shots rather than Jet. Still doesn’t really solve the issue of most of the remaining fish and freeloaders being either a bore or completely unlikeable.
