With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Nifty giving Tay sensitivity training.
 
Nifty is saying Tay isn't being her true self and it's coming across as inauthentic and backfiring for her. TBH she isn't wrong here and she's giving good advice.

Is Tay drunk or something? Idk why she's crying so much due to what Nifty is saying, especially since she apparently hates Nifty.
 
Tay is fake crying and telling Nifty she's only acting racist because it's what she thinks the fans want. She's doing a pretty good job of pretending to be remorseful except she never looks at Nifty, because she'd crack up.
 
Nifty is asked to reprimand Tayleigh for all of her racism and bigotry. Nifty gives a long serious response without being mean while Tayleigh sits quiet. When Vance asks her to respond, she immediately gives a crying response about how she's sorry and disappointed in herself and that she's just pandering to the audience because they're racist. VERY bad look for Tayleigh. People were already pointed out her pandering but at the same time she might feel bad because Vance personally told her that "it's cringe and that the fans are tired of it" and Tayleigh has talked about having bad experiences with Dykes in the past so I feel like she's crying more because she doesn't like the feeling of people disliking her and right now she thinks people dislike her for being racist so her instinct is to walk everything back.

She's in a really bad state and if she doesn't recover I could see her going today. HELL HOUSE TAKES ANOTHER ONE

Dude, season 1 was a case for feminism.

If season 2 becomes a case for men learning to be more sensitive and open with their feelings, I will fucking lose my mind.

Granted I can't listen to the volume loud so maybe I'm mishearing it but she sounds like she's legit crying to me, not laughing. It sounds like that crying so much you're unable to speak well.

I can also see her crying because Nifty is right here, Tay IS trying too hard and it comes across as fake, and there's no way Tay isn't aware of it.
 
Also just want to point out Nifty is actually giving a really good pep talk. She claims that the reason she's on the show is to give emotional support to the fish, idk if that's the real reason or what but she talks like a therapist. She's constantly comforting Tayleigh and validating her feelings and such. It's kind of weird just because of how serious and genuine this is, Nifty is given actual advice a lot of zoomers could learn from.

Hangover, dog housed, vomited on herself all night then woke up in a bad mood from it only to get stuck doing some comedy routine she bombed out on. Probably overwhelmed by frustration more than anything.

Tay just went into B2 where Trish, Taylor, TJ and Brian were grinning from ear to ear about how she totally fooled Nifty with a fake apology. Taytriots win again.
 
HOLY FUCK

Tayleigh the ultimate actor reveals she faked it out. She comes into B2 where a lot of fish are and immediately starts laughing and telling them about her fake crying. I got baited hard. Taytriots are winning so hard right now.

Well she fooled me, sounded like real crying on my end.

TBH though I hope she does actually take some of Nifty's advice about not being such a try hard, it's cringy and not funny.
