With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

Black guy (I can never remember his name) is up first on stand up challenge. It's just him roasting the fish telling them what he doesn't like, like Nifty's haircut or Ben's bald head. Only thing that got a chuckle out of me was saying Jet's eyebrows look like windshield wipers. He couldn't do a full 10 minutes worth of content, so the competition has been lowered to 5 minutes for all the fish.

Jimmy says "I need the full ten minutes for mine" and might actually go over 10 minutes. Sam says that's okay, he go longer if he needs to.

Delayne is next. She's just doing what the black guy did and pointing out flaws in all the fish. She doesn't seem to care about this challenge at all and is just rambling. Not funny at all.

Side note, the funniest thing so far is Ben is right under the camera, his full bald head on display lmao

Trish is up next. She seems to actually be making it like a stand up comedy special. "I can't believe Judge gave me a haircut to look like Nifty" I can't say I find this funny but I think it's better thought out than the other two, you can tell she put effort into it. Funniest jokes: "Brian are you sure you're not gay? After seeing CK I'm pretty sure she fucks you in the ass" and "TJ, you should watch out with Taylor, she looks like a 12 year old", this joke is only funny because she has no idea the type of fucked up porn TJ is into.

Brian is up next. His jokes are just "you're gay" and saying Taylor definitely did porn. Literally says "Black people amirite?" One of two chokes got a chuckles out of me but otherwise, again, not really funny.

Tay is up next. Her joke is just "I am very racist" and "women suck, women amirite?". Not even the fish did more than a polite chuckle compared to the other stand up jokes where fish actually laughed. Very not funny.

Now Jimmy's up with his Anti-Nifty device. He's actually getting a couple laughs, or maybe it's just because he's coming up after TJ told the worst rambling version of an already bad type of joke.
 
does anyone actually like shaggydog stories told by anyone other than norm? the type of joke is so specific that it can only feel like a carbon copy of norm because theres nothing else you can do with them. theyre literally all the same exact joke with different flavor.

It’s like going to a comedy show and the opening act is doing Mitch Hedberg or Bill Hicks. It’s a comedy dead end because their brand of comedy is so specifically associated with them. And before anyone says anything I know that Hedberg was inspired by Steven Wright.

Making Nifty laugh should cost negative points. If Jimmy had just stopped like 8 minutes ago he'd be fine but at this point he's gone on for so long he might be below TJ. Seriously what's worse? Bombing for 10 minutes and no laughs or bombing for 20 minutes and getting laughs from Nifty??

Actually he has. He dresses almost exactly the same as he used to only now we see him in his day to day clothes more frequently instead of in costume like his old material. One difference is he wears more brand name stuff on occasion but it's usually random old tees he buys off eBay for less than $30 and random beanies, and it's always been that way. He's also always worked with drug addicts but they stayed behind the scenes since most of their stuff was edited and not live like it is now. Nick and Charles are/were frequent drug users. If you look through his older videos when he's in his various apartments you will see art work inspired by street fashion and underground artist just as you will today. Even his signature looks like a graffiti tag.
The wigger stuff is just very common with the zoomer generation. It's sickening but it's inescapably prevalent. It's a fair point to say he never hung out with zoomers ten years ago, but ten years ago it was easier to find peers in his own age range because he was also pretty young himself.

Now the fish that are up to be eliminated are up next. Shinji, Jimmy, Taylor, and TJ. They are pulling cards to see what order they will go in. Jet says one of them is for sure going home tonight.

TJ is going first. He's a nervous wreck but that's nothing new. To his credit, he is going into this like a real stand up comedy, by telling a story about him and his friends going to a casino. Props to him for not defaulting to "I'm racist" or just roasting the fish like everyone else. Unfortunately, he's taking forever to get his story out and so far there has not been one polite chuckle among the fish. I can't even tell you what he's talking about at this point, something about an old man retelling his life as a riot officer? Idk, this is cringe and it's already been 5 minutes.

Ooh, he finally said something that I guess was supposed to be a joke? He drops an N bomb and says something about cotton. Idk. No one laughs or chuckled. It's dead silent. This is so painful to watch. His punchline joke is "Never bet on black". Ow. TJ is by far the worst one here. Anyone else could just stand up and do absolutely nothing and it would quite literally be funnier than this.

Jimmy is up next. He brought an "anti Nifty" mask? Idk. Anyways, you know how Jimmy is. He's doing what he's usually doing (talking nonstop and telling stories) and some of the fish are already laughing.

Side note, Taylor is patting TJ on his back while this is going on, TJ looks defeated. Unless Taylor purposely bombs her stand up bit then TJ knows he's going home. I still think Taylor wants to go home and this is all just theater. But maybe TJ really will go home. I can only hope.

Anyways, I have nothing to say about Jimmy, if you've ever listened to him talk for more than 10 minutes then it's not much different from how he normally talks and the stories he tells. Funniest joke was "Have you ever seen a fat homo break a twink's hips?" or something, that got a lot of laughs. In true Jimmy fashion, he has gone over 10 minutes. This lasted 18 minutes. Jimmy said he could have gone for 30 minutes.

Taylor is up next. It's her calling Jimmy retarded and he fucks dogs, says he's sub and would let dogs fuck him, talks about all the stuff she learned during her sex interview with him. Not really funny but Jimmy looks very pissed at the stuff she's saying so that's pretty funny. Also her stand up is is under 5 minutes so that's nice. Thank god this shit is almost over.

Last but not least, Shinji. I'm gonna be honest here, I'm not gonna listen to this because my speakers are fucked and it's hard to understand. Besides, you know he will be funnier TJ and there's no way he's going home.
