With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

Brian's been getting them from an irl "Wolf of Walmart," and last year TTSes sent to Vance referencing "Linear Path" were from his girlfriend Linnea and TTSes for "Squirtle" were from Vance's mom.

I don't really get the fuss.
 
Jimmy keeps bragging about what an epic meme lord he is, how he's the last kekistani priest, etc, but has he actually produced any memes in his entire time there so far? I honestly can't think of any lasting jokes he's made that caught on as inside jokes or anything.
 
I don't know everything that's happened today, only about the coded shit, but since i've been watching 30~ minutes ago it seems like production is specifically trying to fuck with Jimmy. Banning his coded TTS', searching him for shit, taking his shield when he presents it, taking his cologne after he sprays it. Have no clue what they're plan is but Jimmy is not happy.

i think it has more to do with who jimmy is rather than the idea of coded messages themselves. sam saw a ziploc baggie full of pens and asked jimmy if he was gonna stick them in someones eye. i think theyre assuming worst case scenario, not entirely unfairly.

Messages of support from friends and family isn't necessarily 'coded' TTS. In a few of the examples from Jimmy's friend he seems to be passing along subtle advice or information, that's different from what Vance, Letty, or Megan did.

The codes are to tell Jimmy when someone is scheming against him to take his chips or other stuff. The moment he knew he got burned he was hiding in the closet protecting his chips and Sam had to drag him to Yoga.

I think the point of contention is that this is suspected not to be from friends/family, but from people experienced with Fishtank giving him advice. I have no idea what the fuck is going on with this myself, though.
