they keep complaining about fake and manufactured drama and they are the main culpritsThis is so boring holy shit
If Brian was an actor (There are no actors on fishtank) he was a terrible one. Constantly breaking the fourth wall by bringing up making content and being whiny as shit. You'll never convince me that Brian wasn't an actor. Either way I don't care that he's gone. I do wish TJ had gone before him though.
edit: So what about the Nifty check joke? Did they really waste money on that for nothing?
I disagree, Brian thought way too much about production and how he was being looked at by the audience, and it made him come across as stale and fake. He was too self aware, and not likable enough to be someone you can root for as an overall winner. TJ may be quiet and kind of a pushover, but that's why it's fun to see him get forced out of his shell. He's genuine enough to act like a weirdo unintentionally and he falls for production bits every time, which makes for better content. He has potential for self improvement, and has been through two really good arcs already, both of which he was clearly taking seriously. The fish were given a choice for who to stay, Brian or Thomas. They chose Brian. It's important to note that the fish were mostly indecisive and then Jet grilled them for "playing the game wrong" by keeping the strong players here and then some fish changed their votes. Brian was essentially kicked off for being a better competitor than Thomas which makes sense for the game itself but is really gay for the show itself. Brian has been mostly nontent for the past few days but he's a more interesting character overall than Thomas (who is being forced through his narrative, though has been trying a bit more in challenges).
His terrible acting (plus being called in the show last minute) is why I think he's an actor. And again, when I say actor I don't mean he's being told to act this way, I mean he's basically a free loader but the other fish don't know it.If Brian was an actor (There are no actors on fishtank) he was a terrible one. yesWas nifty actually calling xirself a Hebephile?
I know xim was talking about being in a relationship with a 16 year old when xem was 20.
^That's a good description, the show will be better without him whining and trying to dissect every bit as it happens. Production needs to remember this for the future and try to avoid bringing on people who are overly self-aware. I'm looking forward to the decrease in fourth-wall breaking now that he's gone. It's the one thing that really kills the show and Brian was responsible for a lot of it.His terrible acting (plus being called in the show last minute) is why I think he's an actor. If he's not an actor then he is the most pathetic and inauthentic fish I've seen.
