With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

They're not going to really care if someone messes with the clothes provided for them as they're not theirs.

Yeah, but from a liability standpoint, if you damage an attendees personal belongings, you can be held financially responsible for replacing them. Better to just hit Goodwill and buy a bunch of old clothes and have that cost up front rather than the headache of negotiating a fair replacement cost and cutting a check afterwards.

Because it breaks audience immersion. You can't complain about the fish constantly doing that shit when staff comes up and has a decompression session/afterparty on camera during the middle of the run after the fish are asleep. Keep that shit in the basement. It's what its there for.

Shinji is upstairs talking to Jet, says he didn't like all the simping in season 1, thinks Trish is thirsty and wants her out next, doesn't like her thot behavior.

This was the point of the check, to get Tay be willful enough to deface the check and potentially suffer the consequences solely because she hated Nifty the most. Tay passed her "initiative group" challenge, though she agonized over it a lot because Jet kept stepping on her every time she fucked with Nifty. Tay has been the one fish most willing to fuck with people but consistent stoppages from Sam and Jet have reined her in to an excessively passive state. Tay is a real fucking hot head but Jet and Sam have effectively neutered her for some stupid reason.


Edit: To further point out how to do it properly, last night the TTS pointed out the money cube and said 'Do you really think they just left the cube there unintentionally?' Tay and Shinji instantly look at the cube and start scheming. Since TTS is approved by hand the production obviously was ok with the implications of what this entailed.

They start inspecting it to see if the money is fake or not then decide to crack open the cube, Shinji goes and gets a screwdriver and they start opening it. Ben comes and tells them that yes, they appreciated the initiative and activity but the money cube is indeed not to be messed with and to stop taking it apart. Ben properly handled the situation, encouraged the activity and scheming but stopped a specific action they didn't want done. Sam told Tay not to fuck with Nifty when she asked for a hog pepper to smear on Nifty's glasses, but the problem was that he didn't assign her a task to fuck with another contestant on the spot. Sam and Jet are mostly responsible for creating the nontent environment. The only thing Ben has done is prevent destruction of the house with his sperging over "defacing the mural" or "fucking up the dog house." Somehow Ben has been the most effective tard wrangler of the group.

There is too much sleeping space for that gag to work. Particularly now that half the contestants and freeloaders are gone. Between the couches, amount of beds, dog house and couches in the lounge there is just too many places to sleep

There was an activity where whoever wore a wig was in charge. It was almost not worth the time until Jimmy and Trisha killed it at the end. He had Trisha refer to him as her boss nigger and made her behave like a stripper. It’s funnier than it sounds.
