With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

It's pretty common to pick on Jet around here, but this time more than ever is warranted. The whole Jimmy situation today could've been prevented if Jet knew how to wrangle a tard. Being a tard himself, this is impossible. If that mallet was about 4 inches in the other direction, Fishtank could be facing a lawsuit and a lot of negative press.

Jimmy was getting his ego spoon fed in two situations. The first being when he threw Abby's backpack out the window with her ID in it. Jet comes in the room and laughs, calls him a boss nigga. No attempt at warning or reprimand for opening up a window or escalating conflict....he laughs.

Ben enters the room shortly after and asks Jimmy if he threw Abby's backpack out the window. He says yes and Jet calls him a boss nigga after and Ben mimics Jet by giving Jimmy a handshake. If Ben would've entered the room on his own this situation, things would've been handled different. Jimmy would've been reprimanded and warned by Ben not to continue with this behavior, but Ben knows not to outshine Jet. 48 laws of power- don't outshine the 'master'.

Sam didn't help the situation by following Jimmy around and trying to block him. If Jimmy has a clear set of rules to play by and is warned of the potential consequences of his actions-this doesn't happen.

I'm not gonna sit by and say Jet isn't funny or he's not a benefit to MDE or whatever. I don't know his past, but I can tell by his actions he is not fit to be a leader. He knows he's not a leader, he knows the audience loves Ben and hates him and he's extremely insecure about it.

Today could've been a lot worse. I haven't been watching much this season-but that was just what I watched catching up on the clips from the backpack and phone incident today. I'm sure Jet puts in a lot of work behind the scenes that he doesn't get credit for-but he just fails as a leader. Instead of growing with this situation he has remained the same lazy weed smoker.

When opportunities are missed for preventative action in proper timing, the future entertainment value suffers from it. This is a high stress environment-and the one in charge of the house needs to be able to put their foot down and have clear rules for all involved.

The crew has definitely coddled the women this season. Whether its due to them being cash cows, Summer and Meg leaving early, or just them being simps. It was pretty pathetic watching Sam follow Jimmy around while Abby can just do whatever she wants.

Obviously Jimmy is in the wrong here also. He's a tard, but everyone knew he was a tard-and Jet's negligence spawned the actions of all today. It doesn't matter what his excuse is. If he's sleepy or whatever. Ben managed working on World Peace and doing Fishtank all last season and did it excellently on minimal sleep.

I suspect Sam will have reservations about reprimanding Jet-as the backlash he faced with Charles due to Sam being portrayed justly or unjustly as a bad friend was the most heat he ever really faced from his own fanbase. I think that has made Sam give Jet more lenience, where in the past he wouldn't have.

Sam will have to fix the situation eventually-and he would be smart to do it sooner rather than later. The zoomer crew needs adult supervision. Bring on Erick Hayden or BG Kumbi if Sam can't be at the house more frequently or continue to face the consequences of poor leadership from Jet.

You can tell the show is in a rough place. TTS is only like $1 at certain times today and we've barely had any posts about whats actually happening in the tank. Also people seem to neglect how much Jet was hyping Abby up, as far as i'm concerned we got Kansas City Shuffled about that "operation fuck with jimmy" mission AND Jimmy was right from the beginning. She was put in the tank to knock Jimmy out, the way she exploited the rules and everything was rigged in her favor was insane last night. Jet and the staff probably made up all the fishtoy bullshit too, everything from the date to jimmy throwing her shit to the gaslighting to her leaving the doghouse to him being thrown out of rooms was all the staff going full tilt against him. Jet's pep talk with her was bullshit too, especially to give to a freeloader. I feel like the distinction between freeloader and fish has evaporated in a way it didn't last season.

Abby in general just seems like a massive troll, all the women freeloaders this season seem to have that mentality, we'll find out they're all world peace s2 cast members i'm sure.

Someone paid to put a silence bag over Brittany so she was laying in the dark silently on her bed with TTS calling her a bitch over and over. The moment when Vance entered her room and gently slid a silence bag over her head as she cried was pretty kino. I feel bad for both of them, but it was funny. Now TJ is in the room trying to comfort her. Hard to tell whether he's simping or just being nice. I'm still not sure what to think about Brittany, or TJ for that matter. I don't think Brittany did anything wrong fucking with Jimmy though. The point of Fishtank is to fuck with people, nobody should get a pass.

She immediately raced out of the room when the New Zealand wigger arrived. She returned only to leave to cry. Quite an interesting reaction.
 
I want to point out few changes to the site:
- it does not take up to 25% of my CPU anymore,
- it does not fail to load the camera on auto mode while tabbed out,
- the transitions between cams are smooth and it feels way better to watch auto now.

Thanks Wes and Jet is still a faggot.

I know there's an assumption that BPD women are all master manipulators. But the truth is actual BPD women can't regulate their emotions enough to be manipulative for real. At best they use their emotional instability to provoke a positive or negative reaction from others on a moment to moment basis. As we've seen with Summer. She actually believes whatever it is she says at the time. They actually think they're victims of circumstance when things happen to them and can never establish causality as to how they got in that situation to begin with. It's annoying for people around them but actually quite sad from their perspective. They just don't understand why things are happening to them. Even if it is completely deserved from our perspective It's all part of the mental illness. You can role narcasistic personality disorder into it if you wish. But it isn't always a perfect fit.
 
It's been very slow. The few times I've tuned in, it says there are 9K+ online, but then the cameras themselves only show a few hundred viewers on the cameras, with the most popular camera having less than 2K, so I think that 9K+ number is broken. It's more like 4k.

Another reason I can tell it's a slow day is because I can actually keep up with the god awful chat window, normally that thing is going by so fast I don't even bother trying to read it.

Oh yeah, one more reason. Twitter. Normally when I go on Twitter and search the hashtags, there are new tweets every second. Not so now.
