They seem to mention a lot that Shinji doesn't want to be in the spotlight because it's ingrained in him by Japanese culture, but is that all there is to it? Not only has Josie won S1 pretty much by blending in and biding her time to stand out to simps where needed, but surely he's gotta be aware of how every active content driver this season was hypertargeted until breaking point and elimination. Not only that, production keeps going on about how the fish need to play this like a game and kick out the strongest people. Unless they start giving out immunities like last time, standing out just debuffs you.

hes said before that staying in the middle (competitions and feuds) is his strategy. he doesnt want to get singled out as the strongest. im not sure if hes actually been holding back intentionally or if hes just coping by saying its his strategy.

either way its high time to start going all in.

Feels like Jet's due for his own thread this year, with how he's mishandling Fishtank by being a retarded wigger. It seems like things are pretty tense between him and Sam, and Sam has to step in often and put some fun back into the show. The contestants seem relieved to see him compared to Jet and Ben, even with all the puking and destroying stuff.

it was inevitable the moment he started crying about the farms but still continued sucking up to /tv/. I really don't get what his problem is there's like one thread about fishtank and it is mostly positive even at the worst points, and even the criticisms I see here are pretty nuanced and constructive. Like all lolcows and internet retards jet did it all to himself.

Liking 4chan is still the hip and trendy kind of edgy, even when the thread about you is full of AIgen CSAM, while non-anonimously liking KF actively puts you on many shitlists.

Shinji needs to unleash the samurai spirit and end the simptank

lance on a plane update. on a possibly related note a bunch of planes have been falling apart lately because of a competency crisis(((diversity hiring))) that is only going to get worse over time as more low iq brown people flood first world countries.
Completely off topic, and somewhat powerleveling, but I have some inside knowledge about this. The competency crisis is due to fucking over the workers on pay, and having batshit insane office politics. No one will apply for the jobs because they can do something easier for more money, so they had to lower the requirements for being hired or they would be too short staffed to operate at all. This leads to people being unqualified to work on the plane, receiving little to no training, and then leaving a broom in an engine which causes it to explode when it's turned on. Ironically, the tell for if someone is competent, I'm told, is being brown. Muslims are willing to take the job for not as much pay because of some sort of regret about 9/11, and hiring managers are typically unwilling to hire them unless they clearly beat out every other applicant.

On the software and engineering side, the diverse people are all incompetent, but it's not due to diversity hiring. It's due to H1b hiring being cheaper. Those are mostly Indians though.

can't imagine the mindset of someone like that 4chan has been total garbage since like 2016/2017 and only gets worse every year I don't think I've browsed it since 2020.

2016/2017 is extremely generous. it was already a total reddit takeover after the wombo combo of the fappening, gamergate, and the election, and it was already on an absurd decline before thar.

agreed to an extent, the peak of it was when it was still not on everyone's radar. I have fond memories of 2012/2013 on pol talking about ron paul and getting my first redpills with the traytray trial.

I thought 2015/2016 was at least entertaining for the republican primary and the national election memes, also tv and fit were still interesting at times same with /x/.

but also I was much younger then and easily amused. Now its nothing but spam and bots and the same tired retarded topics over and over again.

That's just it. If you become too popular and get on production's radar, you're ridden to exhaustion. Short term gain, long term pain. If the fish like Shinji have figured it out already, how long will it take for production to catch up?
Oh I'm popular now? Great I'm gone. Shame that.

Another day where Jet comes out looking worse previous than before. If production didn't want Fish interacting and beefing with the crew, then they shouldn't have erased the line. Suddenly the people who bitched about the first night they erased it at the are vindicated. They then erased it further by having Sam box TJ because it suited TJ's forced arc. This TJ business has Jet's fingers all over it. He's never one to allow things to naturally happen.

The worst part of last night is that they need Tai. He's been a major part in repairing the dead vibe they had for a bit. I don't have a clip but earlier in the day Tai admitted that he left season 1 when he felt, "Things were getting dangerous." I think a mistake people make is that he's stupid because he's ESL. If you watch his live act, it's clear he's self-aware. Tai would have let the xbox go. But you can see his entire demeanor change when he realized he was almost rap battle bait and switched into getting beat up by Ben.

Tai feels unsafe because that's the atmosphere when Sam is gone. Sam creates the illusion of danger by asserting himself as intense and intimidating. What's funny is that has worn down because when Sam is around the Fish feel more comfortable then when he's not. Tay was happy to watch Sam destroy the house after 23 evenings spent left to the whims of the fatherless wiggers.

Sam is clearly in control/the leader in a way that nobody else is - he's also good at reading people and knows how to calm everyone down. Jet should be but he can't even stay in the basement and the Fish don't respect him.

There's a documentary called The Greatest Show Never Made about a guy who tried to get a reality show going with no money and the cast turned on him and took over the filming. I was wondering if we'd get a scenario like that last night when they were insulting Jet but I don't think they're up to it.

I'm sure it was mostly joking but I still found it pathetic when Jet kept saying "If you leave, I'm sending all the other fish home too" in an attempt to guilt Tai into staying. It was funny though when he agreed to fix Tai's monitor and then Tai demanded more (cigs and alcohol), Jet looked so weak in that moment.

Uh oh

CUMBERLAND – A controversial online reality show is playing out within the walls of a home on Abbott Valley View Drive in Cumberland, where area residents say they are less than pleased.
Those residents, who do not wish to be named based on how they’ve seen other people treated, including mocking of the former owner of the home, say the show is “worse than pledging a frat in the 1970s and ‘80s.” It is full of crass and cruel content, they add, questioning whether there might be some sort of law against this sort of enterprise happening in a residential zone.
The show is billed as a 24-hour reality show where eight contestants are locked in a fully-monitored smart house with guards, and terrorized by the audience. Contestants, seemingly all young adults, are put through various challenges, many of them highly stressful, and have a chance to win $10,000.

One challenge, for example, sees how long they can stay in a “cell” together as various stressors are sent their way. Audiences can pay to interact with the show, including such actions as taking away someone’s bed or buying them a snack.
Those who purchase a season pass get video access into three bathrooms in the home.

Mayor Jeff Mutter said the town is in the exploratory phase of learning more about whether there are any steps officials can take in response to the show filming in a residential zone. Neighbors are quite upset, he said.
Online tax records show that the home was purchased by the company behind the show from an estate last November for $575,000. Built in 1975, the home covers nearly 2,500 square feet of space on .65 acres of property.
When it was for sale, it was marketed as follows:
“Attention contractors or ambitious homeowners. Amazing potential for this 2464-square-foot Tudor style home on gorgeous corner lot with views of Franklin Farm and the valley around Abbott Run Valley Road. Established quiet neighborhood tucked off of Hillside Road. Needs work, but could be well worth it with all the square footage in this location. Great sprawling backyard with plenty of tree-lined privacy. Oversized living room spaces, stone fireplaces, three large bedrooms with massive closets, full walk-up attic could make additional above grade square footage. Possible in-law on the lower level. Ample storage. Estate sale. Property is being sold as is.”

Imo Vance has been the most competent member of the crew, and that's mainly because he only intervenes when he needs to. Maybe he'll become the showrunner with Sam in S3? It'd be interesting to see how his experience as both a contestant and as a member of staff would inform how he'd manage the tank- although he isn't the most outgoing personality so he probably couldn't carry the whole thing by himself.

I'm honestly shocked Jet doesn't have a dedicated thread here. He just gets talked about in here and in the Sam thread. We have all his cringy 4chan posts it wouldn't be hard to write up an OP for him.

What a dogshit article, no actual complaints like noise or something that would actually affect them. Typical suburban white people complaints.

You can tell Jet and Ben are genuinely upset by the fish poking fun at them, especially Tai. Ben took his anger out on a young, drunk retard that can't fight sober, then both he and Jet talked shit on the way out as if they're big tough guys. All they ended up doing was looking like assholes, they can't just have fun with it, they had to "send a message" in a mean-spirited way.
Tai owned them both while drunk and wanted to have a silly rap battle beef and they wanted to pick on him physically too but he wasn't about that and called it for what it was.

Jet and Ben can't clap back because everything Tai and the fish say is dead on. I expect thin-skinned seething from Jet but Ben usually doesn't let things get to him.

Context

Wiggers trying to take back all those years of getting bullied. Would have been great if clown hair got laid out.

if jet wants to be infront of the cams he should drop the production act and start being like sam is on the show.
sam is not a member of production, if you have a serious issue, you dont ask sam about it, you ask the neutral production, who should not be trying to gasslight you, someone you can trust.
i think this is jets main problem, he cant be production and a star of the show at the same time. production is supposed to fade into the background, the fish should not be interacting with them as part of the show.

so i hope vance/josie/some other non wiggers can take on more of the production aspect while ben/jet/sam can just essentially become staff freeloaders.

The Sam thread should just be remade into a nu-MDE thread because everything the wiggers do is Sam related anyway.
