I think it is extremely easy here to see why she snapped. If she has been a victim of sexual violence as she claims, I'm sure this would bring back some bad memories. Contrary to some takes on this thread (and a lot on x.com), this wasn't just part of some bit to show that she's not afraid of Frank or something.

This gives some answers to some questions asked in this thread:

Where was Tay's spine when Hassle made her lick shoes.

This wasn't something she consciously chose to do. Seemed to be a pretty automatic reaction to this. (And she has also been more assertive today in general, but I guarantee she would do this if it happened yesterday too)

Tay’s entire facade has been shattered by Frank. She basically cries implied sexual harassment when he gets near her. The fact that Trisha has less endorsements than her shows how many weird simps watch the show. Tay = worst fish

speaking for myself, its not that i think its a bit. shes just trying to stop frank by going to the extreme and its bad for the show. the same as when she was trying by to stop frank by going to the opposite extreme of being a doormat.

its like she doesnt realize its a show. shes acting like fishtank is one big Cell challenge and she just needs to outlast frank to win*. that may be be true in a technical sense but to make a good show you need people doing what vance and lance did: actually playing the game.

*i think almost everyone has this problem but tay is the worst. after the hassling, frank tried to partner with tay, which wouldve been great. then tay ruined the bit by saying she needed to keep her head down and wouldnt help frank fuck with trish.

if it was really that easy then reality shows especially would have literally anyone doing it. there's a reason thats one of the few positions they pick someone good for. good luck, but there's a reason editing is a legit skill and a well paid union job and plenty of people say they're the real brains behind any good content that comes out

I think she snapped because of this too. She was very quick to sort of submit to the other stuff, but this was different. I hope the apology frank gave was sincere, and it probably was.

After tonight, I can see why some of the people in this thread hated Fatty as a freeloader. He keeps talking about his woes unprompted, and it's tedious to listen to. I think he's a combination of both Jimmy and Brian. Frank also overstayed his welcome tonight. His antics yesterday were fun and also let some of the fishes to shine, but his nigger baby killing antic tonight was unfunny and a good cause for legal liability. In my opinion, a freeloader should be entertaining but not overshadow the fish. A good example of this, I think, is Tai, Duanye, Brit, and Allie.

What also really grinds my gear this season is the lack of preparation for challenges. They spend a lot of time thinking and preparing for a challenge when they should have prepared them way before the fishtank even started. This creates uncertainty for the fish because they're waiting to see what to do next. If Jet was smart, he should have created a challenge spreadsheet with clear winning criteria. For example, Jet can create a couple of challenge sheets for regular challenges to add money or chips. Challenge sheets for beef challenges that incentivize paypigs to spend more money by letting them take a poll on 2/3 kinds of challenges that they want to see the fish do. And also, challenge sheets for the elimination challenge. With this plan, I'm sure Jet and Co. can reduce downtime time with more challenge or internal drama because of the challenges that take place in the downtime, incentivize the fish to be more competitive, and let underrated fish like Trish shine.

Jet told Dumbgay that, "Sam told me next season to get more people like you." At least that shows they're aware of the weakness of their casing this season. Hopefully they sort it out because it's the #1 thing that needs to be addressed. I would be curious to see the list off all the things they originally had planned.
