I think in her mind, the syllogism, "I was sent to the hospital. A rape kit was administered. Therefore I was raped." is logical to her. I cant remember where she said it, somewhere on her instagram comments.

she said it in that video i linked a while back. she also said she heard the contestants through the walls saying “dude she got raped”.
 
Shinji looked distraught and went to the basement after the unresolved "steal $4k" challenge. Jet and Sam talked in the back of the attic (behind the curtain). Jet told Sam "he still wants to walk". I've had a feeling that if Shinji decides to leave, he won't change his mind. Hopefully I'm wrong.

Side note: Tayleigh is the only fish out of the final 3 to not have ran to the basement. Take from that what you will.

yeah it's pretty straightforwardly disordered thinking that's common in schizotypal and adjacent disorders. a lot of people paint it as simple attention seeking (it is, but its part of the disordered thinking) but if you've been around people in this area and with this severity of mental illness, it's just a part of it. My dad is severely schizophrenic and he'll ask questions, you say no? He'll count your blinks and determine you were signing yes, disordered thinking serves to reach a conclusiom that the sufferer has already determined.
 
I hate to even acknowledge her shit because she loves it but no one who has been through it says "I believe I was raped", they say "I was raped". Fuck off throwing around literally life-ruining accusations like that like it's nothing because you're upset, take your schizo disease into a fucking psych program that doesn't allow internet access under any circumstances and take the meds and stay there and stop trying to ride the 15 minutes of fame and simps

Anyway, what an absolute shitshow. I tuned out around the time Stein showed up and can't get back in even though some of highlights and clips have been good.

I think Shinji feels that Tay vs TJ has been long-decided for the finale and would rather walk with what he has than risk losing $4k. Real let down for his fans tbh. If his eyesight problem was never addressed by production then I guess it isn't surprising. Still a big let down. TJ pushed through with a fucking fractured rib, even if it only got unbearable today that is insane. The fuck even is this cast/season/show.

Sam spoke with Shinji for ten minutes in the bunk after this, giving him a pep talk. Sam caught wind of the fact that Shinji is downtrodden after seeing how much better Tay has been for the show the past few days, so he roasts her and also TJ a little. "Do you know what 1488 cringe is? Do you know what a female soyjack is?" "He fought Tayleigh two rounds... and it was even."

Maybe if he wasn't screaming "NEVER GIVE UP! NEVER SURRENDER!" for days. Giving up on your job and going back on your word are both even more dishonorabre
 
@Swamp_Donkey What was that for? i don't remember him winning money pre-cell. I remember Tay won the cell and Shinji won NYE or half of NYE. and NYE was the first time they gave out money for a prize so when could he have gotten money and for what stupid challenge?

I think they ran down to the basement because they genuinely don't remember winning money. Either way i can see Shinji having a Josie level streaming career and getting $400+ a stream, meaning he'll recover the 4k in no time. TJ will vanish as will Tay. Tay deserves the win for actually putting herself out there. Shinji by all accounts should lay on his sword.

Shinji already said he was doing the show to jumpstart his streaming career, he'll be fine and will make that 50k from streaming as long as he bothers doing it.

Overall i have to say this is a bad season, just in terms of how little people care about the fish post-game. people still love most of season 1's fish or at least the fish finalists, Especially Sam who it seems like invited the final 4 to work for him and people still follow a good chunk of the freeloaders from last season as well.

I'd genuinely be surprised if 7 months from now we'll even get updates about these fish. Cole, Brian, and Jimmy have all but vanished.
