Season has been going too well, Hassle will have to come in. But we can hope they give him a defensive/protective role instead of antagonizing/hassling the team.

To this point it doesn't really seem like the goal of this season is to torture the fish. Its been much more light hearted. Given that there doesn't seem to be some big prize for them to compete for they really don't have much reason to stay if they aren't enjoying themselves.

I think Sam is grooming them to be bosses so that they could either torment the next season's fish or make them into NPCs for new fish.

I 100% second this theory. Assuming seasons 1 2 & possible 3 onwards are considered “non canon” i could see them taking say Brian the “deputy” and repurposing it for the house. he could work well as an enforcer. Who do you guys think has been the strongest & weakest NPCs this season ?. i think mauro & possibly trish have been a bit uninteresting

So like when they brought out (someone correct me) Crash bandicoot…4 ? a few years ago and basically made Wrath of cortex & twinsanity non lore games that are ret-conned. They can still make it HELLHOUSE they just need a better script and ideas and actually sticking to those things instead of petty shit like starving the fish or just being assholes towards them.
If 2.5 is actually more prep and show what they can pull off they are actually doing a pretty good job so far, getting in an actual nurse was a very good sign of that.

Once again think one of the major things they need to do for S3 is get a fucking daily meal delivery service so the fish have proper food. especially with how much they drink.

High tier: Xavier, Soda Man, Brian, Fatty, Dumbgay
Mid tier: Blacksmith, Blacksmith's wife, Evil Kevin, Shopkeeper, Taylor, Greg
Low tier: Mauro, Trish

I mostly agree with this, I'd swap Dumbgay with the Blacksmith's wife (she is putting on great NPC performances and Dumbgay drops character more often than not) and move Fatty to mid tier because it's Fatty and he is grating to look at/listen to.

I'd put a huge gap between Xavier and everyone else though. He is by far the best thing about this season and is fantastic to watch every second that he's on screen.

I'm alseep during the day time so I don't get to see most the NPCs and stuff that goes on.
Xavier is carrying it though, Scott is doing pretty good as well. Jetts new character is really lame but maybe thats the point? It kinda feels dated to make a joke of Le anonmoose hacker dweebs though even if thats the point.
Saw a bit of Fatty today, he was just fatty so yea. Dumgay is dumgay and Trish is Trish nothing really deeply roleplayed from what I saw.

you know how critical role made an amazing cartoon based on their D&D campaign? i want to see that for this. that sounds like some hilarious bit someone wrote.

Critical Role and it's consequences have been a disaster for mankind. Sure let's strip out all the good bits of Fishtank, the live broadcast and spontainious natural moments that result from that. And make a scripted cartoon with people who've proven they can't work off a script. Great idea from the people who still think their shitty scripted reality television show is anything like a real TTRPG session.
