With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

They have changed the site layout and removed several of the stationary cameras, down from 12 to 4.
Good news is that the quick menu is focused on the POV cameras and they are hopefully making a return.

Endorsements appear to be working.
They may be inaccurate for now as it kept my old endorsement even when contestant positions changed. I used to Endorse Tai before the update and he was in the fourth position where Vance is now and it was not corrected in the update.

Mauro being brought back only to be just as completely mind mumbling boring as he was in season 1 is pretty funny.
 
Jet came through this morning and nerfed Tai. His gun was too op and "was scaring my vampire extras" so he got downgraded to a bigger revolver that seems to have less power and shoots slower.
 
Vance trying desperately to convince Jon to begin building the altar they need to defeat The Duke, Jon insists it would be a waste of time since the vampires will attack it so he wants to wait til the last second. Jon once again too wetawded to live.
 
Holy retard batman. After a while lot of nothing happened Ben and Jet walked up to Jon saying they found Letty's phone and asked him if he wanted to smash it. He agreed for some reason, but said it wasn't letty's phone so he won't smash it. Brian and Jet were both stumped before insisting it was Letty's phone. Jon took it and said "it's fagctory resut... it aint her phone hahaha." Outsmarted by JON of all people, good look production. Eventually Greg stepped forward to save the situation by saying he'd smash it, then smashing it with a hammer, despite having no drama with letty that I'm aware of.. I'm not sure what this did for anyone other than destroy a camera off a rig that wasn't working.

On the other side of things, Xavier Ravenblood showed up with a NEW FIT. That's right, a new drip complete with a long barrel revolver. He approached Jon and made fun of him for awhile before Jon said he doesn't want to be involved in "gay conversation" and powerwalked away from Xavier in a panic. The lord of the night said Hello to Xayleigh then ran off like a ninja to Tai.

Lookin' good. As it turns out, the gun isn't his new method to dispatch retards from a distance, it's for Tai. Xavier DOES give the gun to Tai but only after trying to get him to admit swords are better (and cooler) than guns ever could be. Tai doesn't get it, insists that guns are cooler because they don't rust unless you get them 'weht'. Xavier relents and allows Tai the new gun if he licks the vampiric blade clean of blood to admit defeat in the 'battle of wits'. He does so without hesitation, new gun acquired! I was hoping he'd like it more than the old one but he already said twice it 'sucks ass'.

Actually he said he's impressed by the new gun after shooting it twice, not because it's powerful or fast. He's impressed with it because he shot a sign and it bounced off the sign hitting Jon.

Worth noting this was also done because apparently one of the vampires got so injured from Tai's gun that they had to go to the ER

I kind of feel like Jon is going to side with the Duke mostly because he doesn’t like Xavier so he’s stonewalling… but he might just be retarded.

Why am I not surprised to learn they didn’t even check the chrono to airsoft stuff they handed out. The vampires also charged in close and most airsoft places have a 10-15 feet in place for all airsoft stuff to avoid this kind of thing.

Strongest lore-relevant NPC currently is def Xavier, but I think Greg will be more relevant towards the end. Most amusing, imo, has been Deputy Brian. He's really killin' it, and the frequency of him being on-cam is just about perfect.
 
Xavier was doing an unboxing 'stream' with the merchant where he chugged a 'potion of energy' forme de redbull in his usual way, through his mask.

After the camera attention was pulled away by commotion, he went over to xayleigh and insisted he needed to perform a medical check on her. Just a quick look at her feet. He just needs to see her feet, to check for blisters. Xayleigh was very against this for obvious reasons, but was forced to whip them puppies out because of his demands and a few peppered in words like 'production'.

Thank god I'm not into it, but it was pretty funny seeing her swat at the camera anytime it moved towards her feet. At a point she was shaking as Xavier counted her toes to make sure she didn't have '14 or 88' toes. I don't really know if she DID have blisters, but she was talking about how much they hurt to the touch just to try and make Xavier stop touching her feet. Soda man assured Xayleigh he was a MEDICAL PROFESSIONAL, the check-up ending only after more Vampire King bullying was directed at her in the form of a RARE side-lean horse stance followed by some foot massaging to get her sock back on.

Brian should stop looking in the camera every time he thinks he just done been clever and wipe the FAIL RP grin off his face
maybe the worst has happened, he's been made aware of the positive feedback
 
Xavier returns and starts talking with Letty saying his day has been enchanting. Letty asks for some Yugioh cards. He tells the Fish they are very significant. Vance says he was a great duelist back in the day. Xavier asks if he was an OCG duelist or a TCG. Vance pauses and says TCG. Xavier says the OCG is the superior japanese version before it was watered down for the common American folk.

Letty is going to offer info to Xavier in exchange for cards. Letty asks Xavier if he knows the Japanese name. Xavier says some weeb shit in japanese and translates it as “do you speak Japanese” then says he blew Letty out by exposing she doesn’t speak japanese. The info is that Jimmy has a crush on one of the vampires. Letty says he should get the vampire in his polycule, to which Xavier responds it’s a harem.

Xavier starts playing with a fidget spinner as he is bored with the conversation. Xavier tells Letty all she can think of is romantic rivalries and sexual tension. Says that despite being a woman Letty should tell him more than that. Letty tells him they have the king’s crown. Xavier says in the future he and the king will be interacting more. Xavier also tells Letty to get Jon to start building the shrine and that they can build the shrine without Jon’s physical help. Rewards are promised as compensation.
