Jon leg update
Jesus christ. Reminder that he said he went to the hospital TODAY and they did nothing but an X-ray and suggest pills for him to take. No MRI was done and I doubt Jon is the type to trust 'piwws'. That leg has fucking holes in it

Edit: After reading a bit more, I think Jon left the hospital AMA (against medical advice). They gave him an x-ray, told him he might need some medication like pain killers, then he just walked before any other treatments. I think he DID get some painkillers on the way out considering how happy he came back without a limp. An injury like that tends to get gross and purple, but it has a hole. It has A HOLE in it. I don't think Jon was involved in any airsoft fights since his return, so I doubt it was punched in via BB. Maybe when he climbed that tree a branch punctured him and got worse. Either way, he needs REAL treatment. I'm talking kinesiology and physical therapy. Jet needs to drive him back and make him stay put this time

2.5 has been my favorite FT thing so far but, very sadly, I haven't been able to watch much of it live or on recaps or read the thread, so late on this:

Someome dug up his records during S1 last year, he was a Seasonal Wildfire Technician with the Bureau of Land Management trained through a Job Corps program. So yes, a kind of wetawd program.
Those records are what made me realize that Jon's life centers around lying about his entire life.
He plays up everything he's done/does/is involved in as some big grand thing but in reality it's all shit.
A seasonal job through a government program "I was totally a big tough firefighter". His shitty "businesses" where they do shit like drop ship chinese e-bikes at 40% higher markup than everyone else, etc.
I had a coworker who claimed to be a 'volunteer firefighter'. He wore a different county's t-shirt every week. He lied about everything. He was supposed to join the national guard but his bootcamp date was always "next january".
Last I heard he sold everything, went back to shithole michigan, and bought a canoe.

Tayleigh quite literally worked herself into a shoot. Granted her fans are probably more deranged than even Letty or Josie's but she completely mindfucked herself.

They ran a poll for who should get the level up today and Tay wasn't included, It's over, isn't it?

Are we able to tell if 2.5 is making money? Clearly it's being well received but are there a lot of people tuning in compared to 1&2?
It’s the most content packed season so far. But, sadly, doesn’t seem as popular. Normal FT seasons often trend on Twitter/X. The fandom seems quieter this season.

I have to wonder if it’s the perception of being a spinoff. Thus making 2.5 feel disposable to some? It’s a shame because something is always happens. They’ve addressed the dead air from previous seasons.

Season 2 ended in a bad taste and traumatized lots of people due to how dark the season is. That's why people aren't hyped over S2.5 and S3 as much as they are hyped over S2 after S1.

2 really was dark and not even in a cool cultish way it was dark in a weird uncomfortable way. Shinji being actually hurt in the final boxing match and the show just abruptly ending, The abuse of the chickens, Frank groping a blackout drunk Tay, the fights that got out of control like Jimmy vs TJ it was just uncomfortable. I know some people (homosexuals) love the hell house shit they enjoy watching people suffer but it was just bad.

Probably a mix of it not being a proper season and fatigue. I wasn't enthusiastic initially when I heard the cast was previous contestants. I had a few irls who were watching the first 2 seasons but they are not interested in this one for that reason.

Lets not forget the rapid fire eliminations, a chick who's gimmick is indecent exposure, and the fact that they let Jimmy attack Taylor.

I've noticed there's a great deal more emphasis placed upon the fish's psychological care and safety this season. The fish seem to be getting proper meals, sleep hours are respected(much to my chagrin as a night owl), and there's an emphasis on other safety procedures like goggles during Airsoft fights. I could never prove it, but I'd willing to bet Sam saw the poor conditions that arose in S2 and said "never again". I really hope whatever jackass suggested "lmao give them nothing but grits for 3 days!" was handed his walking papers, but I'll take a W where I can get it.

It’s a disgrace how this administration has been treating disabled veterans.
The fish notice Jon's absence and just assume he's wandered off into the woods. Jet eventually rolls Jon in on a wheelchair. Jon calls everyone's attention and tells them that "Fwom now on, I will pick one slave a day to puss me awound evewywhere I wanna go. And keep in mind guys, I have ADHD and I like going a lot of places throughout the day nonstop, and I wike getting up ohly in the mohning to steal coffee on the main house... so get weady to be slave for the next eight, nine days, something like that..." Jet asserts that Jon is to walk as little as possible, and that there "may or may not be a spider bite in his leg," then pleads with the rest of the fish to help him.

TAI: "He brought it on himself."
JET: "So, whoever it may be, help out your teammate, get him around the map and help him do his quests..."
TAI: "Sounds like a burden."
JON: "Tai, you'we the fiwst one now."
TAI: "So now you're holding the whole team down."
JON: "Now you awe my slave for two days."
TAI: "You should be a town NP-"
JON: "TAI, NOW THAT IS THREE DAYS IN A WOW."
TAI: "You should be the town cripple NPC."
JON: "FOUW DAYS NOW, TAI. KEEP TALKING IF YOU WANNA KEEP BEING A SLAVE."

I think at this point it would be both in Tayleigh and productions’s best interest for her to just leave the show. Catering to the crazies on /bant/ was always a bad idea and now it’s blown up in her face. She should really just leave the internet for a while. I don’t think she will be able to handle the rest of the show with the emotional state she’s currently in. I don’t know what she could possibly gain by staying.

From production’s perspective, I think she would kill the vibe they have right now. They would have to walk on eggshells around her. They would have to just completely disable all TTS towards her because there’s too many sneaky references they could slip in. They have a petty good dynamic right now without her and she’s just ruin it. I think they should just replace her with TJ since he’s really good at roleplaying.

Why not replace her with Josie or Xavier.

Speaking as someone not super into season 2.5, A big appeal of Fishtank for me was seeing these random people end up in the tank and watching as their personalities emerged and their reactions to events. 2.5 doesn't have that aspect and is just people I've personally seen enough of, so I'm not checking in nearly as often.

TJ would be better but his wrist is still in a cast, his arm hasn't fully recovered yet so he wouldn't be able to do his best. But then neither can Jon anymore
