With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

It seems like Jimmy doesn’t like the “find a woman in camp to kiss you” quest he got from Xavier. He’s been seething around in town, smashing signs and complaining that everyone thinks he’s hideous, and how tired he is of that being the butt of every joke.

As far as I can recall, that hasn’t even been a running punchline. He is kind of hideous though.

Detective Cole was one of the only entertaining non production fabricated arcs (which were not entertaining jet was on his worst behavior S2) in the entire second season so fuck outta here with that. The way he walked in and frantically strip searched the entire kitchen as soon as he got in the house for no reason like a meth addict coming down looking for loose crystals had me dying. People barely even knew he was suppose to be Cole at the time because of his ridiculous childhood contestant picture that made him look like a lipstick dyke that got on tumblr too much and started to take test.

You said Cole was the funniest part of season 2. That's blatantly untrue. Like even if you are a big Cole fan that's still not true.
 
My bad yeah replied to the wrong person. Actually I'm just going to drop this because I really don't want to restart the Cole argument we've had a dozen times. He's a fag though and the detective Cole bit is criminally overrated.
 
The funniest part of S2 imo was Tay nailing fatty shut inside the gooncave and making him freak the fuck out and have a panic attack

 
Overrated sure but leagues better than TJ's production forced "coming of age man maker cure the autistic man and give him confidence" arc that didn't do anything.

I still can't believe he got Taylor after all that.

It wasn't until after he kicked the hole in the wall and after he had that rant calling everyone autistic retards did Cole start to show his true whiny single child faggotry and I enjoyed watching those antics until he finally broke less than a week in and then he sucked and continues to suck today.

I can fully agree with you on that. The TJ "becoming a man" story arc was awful. Production desperately needed something to try and save the end of the show so they just forced that and then literally like a week or two after we saw TJ acting exactly the same as he had been the first day of the show on stream lol.

He's gone now, deleted all his socials. Hopefully he realised he has no chance of using Fishtank for anything and returned to being more "normal".
 
I worry for Jimmy and his frequency of freakouts lately. During the interviews with the fish/Sodaman yesterday they all said he was the most helpful/most enjoyable to hang with. His mind is his worst enemy.

I will also say that we're seeing it crop up more because of how much they have to baby Jon by letting him run away for half the day and making him a 'mod'. If Jimmy got special Jimmy time, he'd probably be chiller.
 
Okay maybe Cole wasn't the FUNNIEST part of season 2, but I can't stop thinking about the classic IT SMELLS LIKE WEED IN HERE. The timing, the angle, the angry 'cole get out', the peeking from the closet. Amazing. I don't think he could generate content in bloodgames though. Something about being locked in a house just makes some things better and other things worse

Someone doxed his phone number while he was playing a gacha game in the porta-potty and people are calling his phone number

During a vampire attack Jon and Jimmy got into a spat. Jimmy shoved Jon over in his chair prompting everyone to hold them apart. Jon got in his face begging him to throw a punch. Jet came on the intercom saying the 'fight is canon'. Jon taunted Jimmy more, Jimmy spit in his face and Jon instantly said he's getting Jimmy arrested and pressing charges for 'sewxual assault' and 'attembted murrder'

What a pussy. I can't recap it because stuff is still happening, but Xavier's phone number was flashed on screen prompting 'spirit guidance' in a porta-potty. While he was in an argument/talking with chatgoers over the phone in the bathroom, vampires showed up. They started fighting the fish, then banging on the portapotty to fuck with Xavier which was funny. Xavier KICKED open the door to yell "FUCK OFF IM TRYING TO MASTURBATE" before closing it, prompting more vampires to bang on the door. Starting at some point when the vampires initially banged on the porta-potty, Jimmy was standing behind Jon's chair fighting a vampire that Jon didn't care about in front of him. Jon did SOMETHING to set the bomb off, and Jimmy shoved his chair over backwards.
 
Not sure exactly how it started, but Jon and Jimmy had a standoff. It didn't get physical, but Jon accused Jimmy of sexual assault and attempted murder for spitting at him. Tay tries to defuse things by saying "We don't piss and shit on each other here".
