With a (questionable) W from James Drake, how would you rate season 5 of Fishtank?

  • 1 Star — Absolute disaster. Unwatchable, boring, production fucked it up bad, the fish were lame

I had no idea who Greg was until 2.5. What an absolute legend. He pogo stick'd into my heart. I read a lot of people in chat were saying he may not come back, that he was a bit of a fairweather MDE Fun that didn't like the edgy humor. I'm completely vacant on the lore, is there any truth to that?

He came in on season 2 to do a fake Mr. Beast bit (pretty sure he knew nothing about MDE or Sam but I could be wrong on that) and production kept gaslighting him into staying longer whenever he asked to leave/get paid. He ended up becoming a freeloader, getting baited by TTS constantly and hassled by Frank. He became a really funny addition and a great sport by the end.

Greg is a normie and a minor viral sensation for a single Mr Beast video back in the day. What makes him interesting is watching him get "corrupted". When I say normie, we're talking about a guy that had a near panic attack from the fish saying faggot and retard. To someone who boxed (frank? Sam? can't remember) to defend a woman in the Tank. Watching an NPC become associated with an extreme comedy troupe is part of the fun.

He fought against Ben, if he won (and he did, with production help and all, it was so funny watching Ben getting fake knocked out) they (Frank and Sam) would leave the fish BNB girl alone.

My favorite greg bit was either the greg cam or the mr.beast stuff. I remember him distinctly telling the fish "they won't let me leave..." when asked why he was still there and I almost cried. Greg may not be CONSTANT kino like the tard rages but he has plenty of good moments. He bounces well off people around him

That gives me all I need to go and learn, thank you guys. I really hope he comes back for season 3, I have always maintained that season 1 and 2 were bad, but I'm starting to think I just didn't get it. 2.5 was what hooked and I think I'm down for 3 at a minimum.

What are the odds Jon is still here tonight? Jet did his best Willy Wonka going, "No, don't go, stop.." I don't hate him but he fail RPs a lot and is constantly walking away and saying he's autistic.

If I were forced to have bet money on how long Jon would last on the show, I would of already lost that bet, days ago.
 
Bandits, under the lead of The Duke have taken over Shitty. They brought The Duke the Staff of Worms which enables him to use his full power. After handing him the staff, they told everyone that weapons in town are now BANNED. The Duke marveled at his staff and quickly went "Now.. I will evaporate dunyay as a joke" and blasted him with one swing of the wrist.

Don't worry! He was revived using it's power shortly after, but the damage is already done. There is now a 5pm town curfew and Greg Hellsing was put into the stockade for being The Duke's mortal enemy. The party went ahead and gathered Jon's things now that he's 'DC'd.
